Unbelievable!!!! Weber has a future and higher ceiling than Picard, but need ice time to develop. Guess Martin doesn't believe it.
Forget the higher future he messes up less than Picard already. Weber makes some mistakes during the game but I also saw him break up plays. Picard can't handle the puck and gives it up in his zone costing goals Weber can pass the puck out of the zone.
there have been a couple of guys on twitter say that he may have broken his wrist, I don't remember seeing him show any signs of pain. I think he is sick, but it does seem weird to miss 4 days with a flu. Anybody hear anything?

Maybe it started with the flu but then JM decided to keep him off the line-up for a couple of more games.
Not to make light of or fun of Cammy's current sickness, but just saw on TSN him listed as a "inner body injury" lol. I have seen upper and lower, but never inner!
In addition, he coughed up the puck that led directly to the 1st goal on Saturday. Clear it up the middle right? right.... wouldn't be the first time.
That was one of the plays I'll never forget, and you know what? He does on a near nightly basis, sometimes it costs us sometimes Price or his D-partner bail him out. Regardless, it happens far too often with Picard.
I am fine with Picard being a Hab, as a 7TH defenseman. Weber is a little like Subban in that there is not much more he can learn at the AHL level, he's dominated the league and he is going to have to learn the game at the highest level and progress here. He's proven so far in my opinion he can be a reliable 6th defenseman, and if he can ever find his offensive game at this level he'll be even more so reliable and efficient. He's not going to learn or progress much from the pressbox, but the crime isn't that we have a young player in the pressbox (that's bound to happen over an 82 game season) the crime is that Martin continues to utilise an older Defenseman who's already hit his ceiling (or very close to it) and it's below where Weber already is at!
Other then another injury, there is no reason Picard should be in the line up.. That's just what I think.
My dad seems to be convinced that Cammalleri probably had diarrhea and was forced to leave. He thinks he shat himself. I lawled.
Old timers put a lot of emphasis on bowel movements.
I can just imagine your old man doing a play by play based on his assumptions about their bowel movements. "It's a sluggish Picard who seems to need more fibre in his diet ..passes into the skates of Desharnais who must've pooped up a storm this morning because he's really flying out there ....over to Darche a regular foot-longer morning man."
