EPIC.

Unfortunate loss tonight, I'm sure Saturday's game will be filled with some fireworks.

Wolski is going to score some nice goals. You hardly notice where he is sometimes. And maybe he does not show big effort, but if he sneaks around and gets into good scoring areas, I won't really mind.

All I hope is that he just plays some more games like he did tonight.

He has and this is coming from one of the biggest Drury fans out there. The hand injury is the only thing I can come up with it. In his first two seasons here, he put up 58 and 56 points respectively. Got injured the end of the 2nd season, and was ineffective outside of the one goal in game 4 against the Caps cause of the broken hand. In 09-10, he only puts up 14 goals and 32 points, career lows in each category. He then proceeds to brake his finger, twice. Now he handles the puck like a grenade. It definitely has to be the hand injuries. His hands make Ortmeyer's look like that of a 50 goal scorer.

This says it all. So because Hank made 36 other saves we should give him a pass? It was a costly error, lets hope he doesn't make it for a 3rd time.

I am not calling for his head, but it sucks is all. I can't understand why this team can't get past a 3 game win streak.

I want Wolski to dominate against the Nucks. Gaborik, too. I want that line to have at least 3 points amongst itself.

Ok, I'm nitpicking now but I'd really wish if Torts didn't use a timeout every time they ice the puck after a long shift. There's definitely times where it should be used but it could bite us in the ass big time when we need it late in the game like tonight. I felt it really could have benefited to give the guys a breather and draw something up.

The officiating was brutal. Dubi gets slew foot by that piece of garbage right in front of the ref and no call. Very impressed with Wolski debut especially considering he just got into New York today and had no practice time with the team. The kid is really skilled, hopefully Torts can get him to be consistent player.

Drury was invisible again tonight. Drury is even slowing up the 4th line. Avery played great tonight. LOL @ Hal Gill beating him to the puck.

Yeah, it was painful to watch. I don't think Drury is coming back after this season. I don't even know if he is going finish this season after what I saw tonight.

I think he is really hurt much worse than anyone let on and he's just trying to do the warrior thing. His shifts are so short you can barely say his name befoer he's looking over at the bench for his change.

#86 looks like a very sneaky player, and could be a good move for us.

I'm liking Zook's game more and more. PLays a complete game and sees the ice well, anticipates, hits, everything.

Yea the slew foot got the crowd very angry. The guy next to me mentioned that this seemed like it was an away game, the way we werent getting calls.

It was quite bad.

still shaking my head over his missed empty net at the end of the game. Wolski tieing it up woulda been epic.

ha. From the looks of Gaborik's play lately it doesn't seem like he has any plans of scoring anytime soon. It would be one thing if he was playing hard and snakebitten, but this is not the case.

Either Gaborik is nursing his groin or shoulder is jacked because he's a quarter of the player he was last season. he hasn't scored because he doesn't deserve to. he's not earning his paycheck right now.

Gaborik, Ani & Wolski had one very dominant shift early in the game.

I'd like to see more of that.

i think it's time to give him a few weeks off, or a month, or whatever it takes to get him fully healthy.

The more I think about it the slewfoot itself didn't bother me half as much as the fact that it was done right in front of a referee and he didn't call it as anything.

I thought Wolski looked pretty good tonight especially considering that he hasn't skated with the team at all yet. If he plays like that every night good things are going to come to him here.

7-0 vs the Caps. We're 1-3. Dubinsky has 3 goals.

****! I forgot about the heritage jersey curse. All because of the caps game...if I remembered it I wouldn't have been upset with the loss.

Nothing the boys could've done to beat the curse. Hopefully all the iron we hit tonight becomes goals against the Nucks.

I doubt that there will be much dominating against the Canucks.

A better effort than tonight would be welcome, though.
