Not a huge baseball fan but I've noticed the Angels have been making a nice little push for top spot in ALW. GO HALOS!!!

Awww... Boston lost to Texas last night. Grrr... 4.5 behind Texas.

Angels finally showing some offense. Went to Saturday's 12 inning game. Phew! I really thought we would have lost the game after giving up two runs in the top of the 12th inning. Lo and behold, the rally monkey decides to show up!

Weaver signing is just simply Awesome! Now, everyone can still buy his jersey as Weav put in a "no trade" clause.

The Angels now get to keep their three aces of Weaver, Haren, and Santana through 2013.

If only there was a way to get rid of Wells and his contract this offseason, then I'd be very happy. The only way I can see this happening is to package one of our first basemen (Morales or Trumbo) with Wells. Heck, include Mathis in that deal too and I'd be one ecstatic Angels' fan.

Why give up two of our best players (the two with more offence than any other player on the roster actually) just to unload that chump of Wells. I'd rather keep him at that point; I'm still pissed we TRADED for him, I can't get what was the logic behind this ridiculous move...

I like how $85 million is a home-town discount.

Big showdown this weekend vs the Rangers. Two games down against the team ahead of you. This series is so decisive that GM Sosh is thinking of making two of his aces work on three days rest, as opposed to the usual four days rest. He's going to run with the momentum.

The Angel's schedule for the rest of the season is much easier than the Rangers. So if the Angels can make the playoff push this weekend and it pays off, then the rest of the schedule will only help to create distance for division champ. Essentially, this weekend is a playoff weekend. Can the Angels take advantage of the Rangers' tired pitchers' arms?

Ha ha ha... it's like the Ducks season to make the playoffs last season!

At least Vernon is showing signs of life!!

I could be wrong, but the Texas ballpark seems to play like a little league field. You really don't have to hit it all that well to get a home run. Kinda like the Rogers Centre.

It's a hitters park, that doesn't change the fact that our team is amazing.

Nice game for Vernon!

Trout is a very impressive young player, too.
