sadly you're right, so this is my last post on the subject. Just stop BR, retire, get away from the game of hockey, faw away, you're an imbecile!.

Actually, MAB's physicality is underrated, but that's a story for another time.

I guess that's why Wiz makes over 3 million and why MAB signs deals mid way through the season every year of late.

These guys aren't even close, it would be like saying Robbie Shremp and Sidney Crosby are the same player cause they both have high skills.

He's built thick and solid, but it limits his mobility.

Thankfully there are some intelligent Habs fans out there reading the RDS web site.
Check out the comments section for that article. just about every single one is saying that they don't agree with the comparison.

The most I remember about MAB's physicality is when he was bowled over by Mike Richards in the playoffs. I don't think that will happen to Wiz. No contest as to who the better player is - just no contest whatsoever.

What a silly article. LOL

People are taking what Bertrand Raymond says seriously?

When he was on l'Antichambre a few weeks ago, Michel Langevin challenged one of his arguments and the best Bertrand can reply is something like:
"Talk to me when you've covered a Stanley Cup win"

So basically, the fact that he covered a Stanley Cup winning team makes him smarter (?). It's like saying the Oilers are better than the Capitals because they won Cups.

Bertrand might have been a good journalist at some point in time (maybe someone can confirm this), but right now he's no better at analyzing hockey than my dog.

I've watched a couple of Stanley Cup wins, I wonder where that puts me in his esteem.

We should put Bertrand Raymond, Jack Todd & Rejean Tremblay in a Xmas stocking and offer them to Brian Burke. That way T.O. will win the triple crown

lousy team
lousy management
lousy press

But even T.O. doesn't deserve that nightmare so we'll offer them to Boston seeing as they have that Edwards character anyway and the Bruin fans wouldn't notice the difference.

That's a Joke! What's really sad is some naive fan in Pointe-au-pic may actually believe that kinda crap, it's on RDS, must be true.

I don't like the fact that he is distorting the facts here on NHL.com the two players are listed :

Wisniewski 5'11 208
Bergeron 5'9 198

That is a huge size difference and they aren't 5'11 200 and 5'10 200 like in the article.

And this is why I keep mentioning...hate the game not the player. There is no need to hate the Quebec born players based on the fact that some journalists are stupidly blinded by their love of the players born here. Bertrand Raymond, Réjean Tremblay are washed up morons....but it doesn't mean that "sometimes" a Quebec born player cannot do just as good as job as another one...

But in that case, the comparison is dumb and stupid....like most Raymond articles. I mean Bertrand Raymond is the same guy, DURING THE SAME SHOW, who said that Timmins had no merit for picking Subban in the 2nd round since he didn't pick him in the 1st AND was mentioning how Detroit was so great at drafting based on their Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Co picks...I repeat, this was during the same 45 minute show.....

Worse than that, it's like saying the Oilers' farm team is better than the Capitals' because the parent club has won Cups. AFAIK, Raymond himself had zero impact on the team winning the Cup. At least when a team wins a cup it implies a certain level of competence from the team itself, but covering a team that happens to win a Stanley Cup says absolutely nothing about the quality of the journalists that happens to cover the team at the time.

I'm not sure whether to or . The article is complete and utter crap, shameless pumping of a local player at the expense of everything else including the most basic common sense, but for Bertrand Raymond, this is par for the course.

Bergeron is not 5`10 (i'm 5,8 and a half and i've seen him at the airport to get an autograph)

+

Wiz is faster
I'm not sure I will trust someone who actually asked an autograph to MA Bergeron...

I'm sure a naive fan from Baie-d'Urfé could also believe that kinda crap... if he could actually read it!

Well, at least he has Jack Todd. When it's in The Gazette, it must be true.

Nobody did obviously. 99% of the journalists have no idea about what the draft is....And nobody will ever have the nerve to go against Mr. Hall of Fame....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Bergeron doesn't even compare to Wisniewski in anything.

Wiz is bigger, faster, a better defenceman, tougher, a better hitter, a smarter quarterback on the PP and an all round better hockey player than Bergeron. Bergeron had a slapshot, thats is it!!! He wasn't tough, he couldn't hit, he couldn't play defence at all.

This is the funniest article I've ever read!!! Sure says a lot about the french media and the little they know about the game of hockey!!
