Canucks 5-2

It's called a joke man, chill. I know Schneider is a beast, I was just playing off the well known fact that we suck against goalies termed "back-up goalies."

Ya think? If it wasn't for staal making some great defensive plays that would've been 2 breakaways. And he got a penalty for basically tackling the guy the 2nd time.

It's going to be tough, but not impossible...

Not going to name a score yet, maybe later..

I'm considering asking for a day of tomorrow, since the game is shown here in Norway at the Viasat hockey channel (The game is usually finished 30 minutes before I get up to go to work, so....)

The goalies are the key here (As always...)

The Sedin's are dangerous...

I got a feeling Mza won't get to play a whole lot in this game, so I hope he produces when he's on...

I predict that;

we struggle to score and the Canucks gets a few lucky goals..

Wolski with 1 assist..

Lundqvist with 37 saves...

Boyle with 1 goal..

Mza with 1 assist...(I hope)

Dubinski with 1+2..

For the Canuks I fear The Sedin's, Kesler and Samuelsson the most...

I don't get why everyone acts like Samuelsson is some scary goal scoring beast.

He's a 3rd liner who benefited from playing with 1st liners.

Now he's back to being a 3rd liner.

Of course, with me saying this, he'll get 2 goals tomorrow.

Why Samuelsson? He hasn't had the greatest season so far for us.

Manny Malhotra and Raffi Torres are 1st liners?

He still played most of his time on the 2nd line last year. Despite his disappointing season being shuttled between various lines, he's on pace for 48 points. I think it's safe to say that's easily 2nd line production.

Well, even the Canucks 2nd line had 1st liners on it. Kesler is most certainly a 1st liner. And Raymond is a 2nd/borderline 1st liner. Samuelsson is a solid player, but not somone to be "scared of" in terms of creating chances and scoring.

I wouldn't call Raymond a first liner. He's another 2nd line guy who's had a bit of a disappointing season. Kesler, on the other hand, I definitely agree with.

Regardless, you're right that Sammy isn't exactly a guy opposing teams should be building a game plan around.

Guess you guys haven''t been following the Nucks. Schneider has been outplaying Luongo and basically is a #1.

Rangers 6 Nucks 1
Hahaha! I'm loving that visual. Would this new being be called Danrik or Heniel?

Should be a fun game tonight, win or lose. Two good teams going at it here. Given the Rangers split though, I would almost prefer this one to be in the Couv.

We've done pretty well this year with the character building kind of games, and this literally may be the toughest yet out of all of them.

Vancouver is just plain solid. Every Ranger will have to bring their 100% game tonight and they're gonna have to pile grit on top of grit. They need to be physical, finish checks and get in hard on the forecheck. Granted, that could be repeated for every game. But we aren't totally consistent yet with those aspects, but this game is going to need that energy. Personally, I think Avery is a big key here. If he shows up, from his first shift onward, that may well set the pace and tone for the others. Prust as well.

Tough game here, and I would almost expect a loss of 3-1 with a possible additional with an empty netter; but since this team has proven its heart and work ethic to me far more this year than in years past, I'm going to hold onto hope that we see a signature identity type game tonight, and take it 3-2.

Stand on your head Hank!

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!

Here's the story from the Canucks' site saying Cory Schneider will start in net tonight. He's 8-0-2, 2.31 GAA, .925 SV%.
Yep. Throw in the towel now.

But we should be used to it by now, if Schneider shuts us out or plays dominant.

Schneider's peripherals are exactly the same as Hank's... and he has to lose sometime.
