Where art thou Gaborik?

The Rangers have reached a point in the season where their secondary scoring has dried up. We are no longer pleasantly surprised by a Boyle goal or a Prust shorty.

The defense has to press the issue tonight to maintain possession, but its going to fall on Gaborik to pot a few. You cant expect to score 1 or 2 tonight and win. The Rangers need Gabby to be Gabby in the worst way now.

All season long theyve gotten contributions from players playing over their head so-to-speak. Now we need Gaborik to just play to his potential. Lundqvist will have to be good, no doubt - but its time for Gaborik to go out and play like the gamechanger he was last season.

Every season has it's share of embarrassing or otherwise forgettable games. I have a sinking feeling this will be one of those games for the Rangers. Obviously I'm desperate to be proven wrong. However, in the immortal words of Han Solo: "I have a bad feeling about this." We'll see.

I'm optimistic because Wolfski showed some real ability to create. He also has a look in his face as though he wants it. Usually the "Want-to" is the most important aspect to a player and whether he improves.

Canucks have one of the best teams in the league right now.

We need to break out of our relative offensive funk soon, it has been 7 games since we scored more than 2 goals not in the shootout or into an empty net. We have 11 goals in that 7 game stretch.

Get over it boys, put some in the back of the net.

Canucks fan coming in peace

Glad to see Boogaard is out, he always seems to crush someone on the Canucks atleast once a game. Too bad Rypien isn't in the lineup, he and Prust are always good for one or two great fights! I don't catch many ranger games but your forwards are looking pretty beat up at the moment so I'm hoping you guys aren't the team to hand us a regulation loss. Good luck though, should be a good one!

Canucks fan here, I have a feeling both fanbases have a healthy number of people feeling this way. We were outplayed by the Islanders and barely came away with the win, obviously the team is on a hot streak but there are plenty of near losses amidst the "undefeated in regulation" run. We would've been sunk without a few slightly lucky goals/deflections against the Islanders.

So the moral of the story is that it isn't over until it's over! Good luck tonight everyone

I hope this isn't one of those forgettable games. I'm going to be in the building, Section 405. Here's hoping I didn't spend my money to watch a lackluster effort.

I thought that he started skating like a month ago. At this point I think he might not return this season.

No it wouldn't, we need Prust healthy and able. He's been carrying knocks for a while now already, I'd much rather he didn't fight at this point.

Few weeks ago the Knicks beat the league-leading Spurs.

Rangers, its your turn. Get the Nucks.

Should be a fun game tonight, win or lose. Two good teams going at it here. Given the Rangers split though, I would almost prefer this one to be in the Couv.
I think it would be calles DANK

Tonight our core players have to step up and produce. The team cant rely on rookies (read;zucca) saving points every time.

Looks like our problem again is scoring goals. Only 8 goals in the last 6 games. Not good enough at all. I'm not sure what happened but they have to turn this around.

hopefully starting tonight, Lets Go Rangers!
