What a goal by Booth, and Olesz did well on that, getting in the goalie's line of sight.

Nice to see Olesz show up. Didn't relly notice him until the goal.

If I recall, the last time the Panthers were able to make a push it was in front of Anderson, not Vokoun. I see the same situation arising. It's too bad Vokoun makes so much. Clem has been playing well.

yeah, but it's not going to happen with Clemmensen. He's not as good as Anderson. Not even close.

I mean...Clem did a good job when he had to play, but IMO, he's still one of the worst goalie in the league. That first goal by Nashville tonight...wtf!?!?!

I don't see Clemmensen getting 3 or 4 starts in a row, he just couldn't handle it.

Great to see them redeeming themselves for at least one game and taking someone else's lead and giving them the loss instead. Back to .500!

Clemmensen's done about as much as Anderson in his career.

With that said, both goals Clemmensen allowed tonight were questionable. He did make a couple of big saves, as well, but all in all, he wasn't really a primary reason for the win, imo.

If DeBoer doesn't go back to Vokoun on Saturday, I think it's safe to say Vokoun's as good as gone. As a matter of fact, I still find it weird that he didn't get this start tonight; I think Tallon's already talking with other teams, even if he says otherwise.

I remember clemmenson carrying the devils to the playoffs a couple of years ago when brodeur was out for half the season. This was a good game. Whenever the cats and preds meet its a good game it would be cool if they were in the SE division. Well were 9 points out with 3 games in hand on atlanta lets turn those games in hand into winds.

It was funny. I was reflecting on Olesz's career with us when I saw him on the ice just BEFORE he scored. I was pondering would this be his last game/could he stay healthy/will he ever contribute on the scoresheet again etc...

My seats are behind the shoot twice goal and the look of utter relief on Olesz's face when he scored kind of made you feel for him. We all know he is overpaid but that's really not his fault it JM's. Glad he had a good game maybe this will get him on a streak probably not but we can dream.

This was a terrific game to go to live. Just completely exciting the whole time. Even though the crowd was a typical for a weeknight, during the second half of the 3rd period, it felt like a sellout with the atmosphere. It really made me think how incredible the arena would feel like had there been a huge crowd on-hand. I'm honestly shocked that we won since the Predators had won their past six straight. This just shows that the Panthers can compete with anyone in the league, but it's these damn short streaks that are killing them and why they're only a .500 team. Honestly, I'm scared about the Devils game on Saturday because after two big wins, you know what's likely on the horizon

i actually thought the game was really, really boring until the preds scored to make it 2-1....then we opened it up and some chances came both ways, but we capitalized. usually its the other way around....

I didn't get to see this one fellas had to work. Love to see that booth seems to be turning things around here - could he get hot and it 30 goals this year? That would be a very positive sign IMO

He was credited with getting the Devils to the playoff that year, then he got traded here, had a terrible start, lost like 5 in a row.
He did a great job last night, I noticed how he hugs the post tighter than Voukun, Vokoun's weakest spot.

This game was not boring at all, if anything was like a Chess game, very cautious on both sides and playing to the other team's mistake.
They play a very similar style of game.

When the season started lots of us were worried about where the goals were to come from.
I think that question has been answered.

Quick question...why are we playing a Western Conference team twice in a season? Am I missing a new schedule revision rule here?

Maybe Busty Olesz actually proves he can be useful, and get hot over the next month. It would be really awesome if we could get rid of him.

Huge, huge win last night. Its good to be on the other end of blowing a lead for a change. Its good to see Olesz finally decide to make an appearance. If only he could play like that all the time. Cant wait for the Devils game tomorrow night.

Gotta love these refs at our games. OBrien didn't get anything on the highstick in the game from the refs but now the NHL gave him a two game suspension for it.
