I really hope he doesn't run with that line...

I'd like to see Michalek back on the right side.

Foligno-Fisher-Alfie
Regin-Locke-Michalek
Rutuu-Kelly-Neil
Smith-Winchester-Shannon

We still suck, but it's worth a try.

I hope the team shows up for Lehner's first career start. The kid should be pumped. Looking forward to see him play.

the only reason kuba isnt being sat has to be because management wants to move him and they don't want his trade value stained by recent healthy scratches. that HAS to be why they keep him out there. i think kuba has been our worst defenceman this year.

I agree with what others have said. I want a 1-0 loss in regulation. Hell, make that 2-1. That way we at least get a goal and keep it entertaining. But hey, if we win, then woo and yay

Just win Sens! Wanna see Lehner get a W for his first career NHL start. 2-0 Final score for the sens, with Karlsson and Kelly scoring

Wrote a little story for the main post, just kind of free wrote it, don't expect it to be good.

By the way, Panic Button set to off because Lehner is in. Going for my first GDT win this season, would be 100x better if I got to share my first win with Lehner's first.

I'm going to watch this game for the sole reason to see how Ottawa plays against a team that has been surging since they made a coaching change. COME ON SENS!!

I agree with this. This game is clearly important and I don't want Lehner to blow it for us...

I figured out who Lehner can keep his 1.000 save percentage and we still lose in regulation without Lehner getting injured.

We lose 1-0

In regulation

Goal scored on a delayed penalty call, Lehner on the bench for the extra attacker, missed pass to Gonchar into the empty net. As it has gone into the empty net it isn't counted against the goalies average.

Everyone happy now?

Maybe Locke was the one that made the pass?

I hope he's out until the last few weeks before the trade deadline, when he suddenly catches fire and raises his value.

haha - its lose/lose.

The best impact Kuba has had on the team this year was the last few weeks before he returned from his injury. He wasn't playing, so not hurting the team, but he also wasn't a healthy scratch so it didn't look bad on his value. To top it off, lots of people (including myself) were excited about him coming back and bolstering the lineup with his smart two way play. This was obviously a mistake, but the optimism really helped.

So we need to break his leg again, but time it so he's ready to come back right before the deadline, and we'll hype him again.

When has Michalek ever played on the right side on the Sens?

It's more like in little league when you get a home run on 4 errors, cause the ball is over thrown at every base.

More like the ball rolling past the outfielder that wasn't paying attention.

2-0 Sens.

Karlsson with a goal and Lehner with the empty netter and shut out.

3-2 Islanders Win.

I'm fully on board with team tank, although I don't want Lehner to be scored on.
