Just saying......

I think a lot of Panthers fans wanted John Fox fired 5 years ago.
It's my opinion that the Broncos went dumpster diving.

Don't ask Panther fans about Fox, most are not neutral enough about him to give you a fair assessment... I think he's a pretty decent hire, especially if he is able to get the right offensive coaches there... I'd be more concerned as a Denver fan with the fact that you are going to have Tebow as your QB next year... That means another losing year... The guy will not be able to take a team to the playoffs...

Tebow is the reason that Denver was not able to get their top guys on the list, very few wanted to come in and be forced to use him as the QB

Fox is a decent coach, but extremely conservative. Get used to draws on 3rd and 10 if he doesn't trust your QB. Get used to them anyway

He definitely needs to hire a top notch offensive coordinator and give him trust and power.

I don't know who John Elway talked to in that interview, but to refer to John Fox as "dynamic" is lolworthy.

I'm no Panther fan, and have never pretended to be. I'm as neutral on the team as you can get. I wish them well.

But John Fox was a horrible coach. I tried to tell a coworker of mine 3+ years ago that Fox's days were numbered. Little did I know that Richardson doesn't and won't fire people.

I was utterly floored to hear that Fox got another NFL job at all, much less as quickly as he did. He has never impressed me. His slow, conservative approach and inability to fix the same problems that plagued his team over and over, tells me he's just not cut out for the job. (sounds like Paul Maurice)

Kahuna, you will be hard pressed to find many NFL executives and coaches that don't respect what Fox brings to the table... They have a much better understanding than you or I... Fox is a very good coach that turtles a little... His defensive knowledge is probably in the top 10 NFL among all coaches and assistants... Like I said, I think he should have passed because of Tebow, but we'll see

That may very well be so.

But it was long overdue for the Panthers to find a new coach.

Fox may win championships elsewhere, but I don't think it was ever going to happen here. And a lot of that responsibility falls into the lap of Richardson too.

If Carolina keeps the pick, I can't imagine they take anyone but Fairley unless something shocking happens at the combine... Maybe Bowers? I don't think they'd reach and grab AJ Green, even if he might end up the best player in this draft

If I were to stay at a hotel in Raleigh, approximately how much would a cab be to the RBC you think?
