To start things off...........didn't realize the Sharks were on the outside looking in right now sitting in 11th. Now wouldn't that just be sweet irony if Heatley was to miss the playoffs over there after making the WCF last year, the same way he did here not long after we made the SCF.
He thought going there was almost a sure thing. So funny!
Yeah Fleury is too funny! You could tell that when Price did it, it rubbed the Pens the wrong and it got some discussion in the locker room. Not like it was a direct jab at the Pens in the first place but it puts Price in his place a little bit.

Funny thing is, I told Sharks fans last year that they had better win the Cup since they were going to spiral downwards. I told them losing Nabokov and Blake last year and likely Marleau at the end of this year would be thier demise.
FFS brunnstrom to the leafs. DO SOMETHING MURRAY! ANYTHING YOU ****!
Big whoop its Brunnstrom. Let them have their awesome AHL player.

I hate to burst your bubble guys but I heard a rumour that Floridas GM, Dale Tallon, is trying to re-sign Vokoun and if he isn't able to by Feb 28th, trade deadline, then he could be moved out.

Looking at playoff teams who might want his services I would assume Tampa, Washington, and Atlanta are the more likely destinations for him in the East. All 3 teams are within the division, so probably will have to give some conditional pick of good value.
Tampa and Atlanta have the cap space (now if the owner is willing to spend a little more is another question), but they also have goalies who I assume they are planning to ride with.
Washington would have to make room, but got a few contracts expiring they could swap out to make it fit under the cap.
In the West it's tight throughout the standings, so it's hard to say who will be buying and selling. I would say either Nashville, Colorado (if their not confident in Anderson), and possibly the Kings.
I guess a non playoff team could also make a pitch for him since good goalies like Vokoun are few.

Then if we really want him we have to get him before deadline. If he gets moved out he could end up signing with that team he gets traded to.
It really doesn't make a huge difference. If he doesn't resign with Florida, that means he's probably intending to test the market...if the team he gets traded to changes that then so be it...tough on us...but there's no sense in trading for him, absolutely none.
If I'm not mistaken most times rentals get traded they end up testing the market. If a contending team can convince him to sign before July 1st after trading for him that means he probably intended to sign on with a contender on July 1st anyways.

I say we should pitch for him. We could possibly move some contracts out for him then hopefully Murray can sign him. It will be a lot harder to sign him in the summer when anyone can offer him a contract.
Keeping Clouston is the right decision. Firing Clouston would just make the media focus on firing Murray and then the entire team atmoshphere will go into a tailspin.
