Not as bad as I had thought but still nothing to get excited about.

Sounds like they should trade for Kovalev!

Gaborik's going off on the Leafs; 4 goals on 6 shots + 1 assist and the second isn't even over yet.

News Flash, the City of Toronto has again cancelled the Stanley Cup Parade to the dismay of the fans.

Please stay tune for the next 2 game win streak when the plans will again be unveiled.

Seems Meszaros needs to be on a good team to perform well. It's unfortunate he tried to rip off Ottawa.

In the end though you had to figure he would put it together. Glad it's with Philly!

Damn Murray missed the boat again! We all know Mez would put up the same numbers on the 1st or 2nd pairing of the second lowest scoring team in the NHL as he would on the bottom pairing of the deepest team in the league (that also happens to be the highest scoring).

Nabokov is about to be signed by the Wings to a one year 570,000 dollar contract.

Should Murray put in a claim? The way I see it LOLclaire and LOLliot are not the solution moving forward, do we make a low risk move and see where he is at?

As much as I believe that Vokoun/Bryz is the answer long-term, what if Nabby still has something left (unlikely...)?

I say why the **** not. LOLclaire is constantly hurt anyways, LOLliot hasn't won a game in forever.

It might interfere with tanking but I think it's worth it to see where Nabby really is as an NHL goalie. Make him play for his next contract.

Please no. We need to tank this one, having a late-surge just to finish 6-10 doesn't help this team in any way.

That is my main issue with it, but I qualify that with the belief that we will be lucky (if that is the word) to maintain this level of suckitude.

I just can't see us finishing bottom five, especially with the increased effort shown lately.

Heck, if we have a late-surge that means Nabby played good so we found our goaltender till Lehner is ready (2-3 years) .
If not, that's ok too as long as Lehner stays in Bingo and we don't interfere with his development this season
At 600k that's a no brainer with Glasscal Plexiclaire still around

Take Nobokov off waivers then trade Leclaire to Detroit for a conditional pick.

If Murray can trade Leclaire for anything it will go down as the greatest coup ever.
