Good game against a scrappy little team. Pavelec is the real deal. Absurd that he and Briere aren't all-stars.

Bergfors? I see he had two assists, but really, the Ladd goal was virtually unassisted. Weird stars.

My roommate cried when HBK had to retire when he lost his "career" match last year. True story.

Hartnell is Gimli, just because
Briere is Frodo Baggins for obvious reasons
Leino is Legolas - the elves seem to be Scandinavian

You've definitely watched too much pro wrestling as a kid.

Stout, hairy fellow. Yeah, Hartnell's like Gimli just because.

Also, the elvish in LOTR is based on the finnish language, so there you go.

Coatesy presses Ville for a line nickname:

C: "Your line's clicking and good lines need a nickname. Don't you think your line needs a nickname?"

L: "No, I got nothing for you."

(other questions, then back to nickname subject)

C: "I know you don't have anything, but will you think of something?"

L: "Yeah, I guess I can try to think of one" (Chomps into pizza)

Hartnell, Briere and Leino were disparaged by the board before they came together (almost out of desperation).

Oddly enough, the dude gets the most tail of anyone I know. I think he secretly idolized HBK and had a shrine in his closet. I never watched wrestling, so I found the entire thing highly entertaining while screaming "HELL'S GATE! HELL'S GATE!" (I think that's a move).
