Well, you guys would be hard-pressed to lose. Our offense is doing pretty damn bad right now and really out of sync and we historically suck on the road.

Should be a fun game to watch.

BTW, Is picking up Neuvirth at this point in my hockey pool would be wise or is it not worth while at all?

As long as we don't get any PP time and score 5 on 5 we'll be fine.

From what I heard, Willsie was sent down to Hershey. Assuming Willsie was his injury callup, should be yes.

Willsie was sent down to Hershey because Boyd Gordon was ready to play.

Varly should get the edge in starts unless he gets hurt again.

Depends on what type of pool it is, Neuvirth seems to mostly be the backup right now, but there's always the chance he could get the spot good start or even get a run of very good starts in a row.

Varlamov has been great for you guys lately and if his play carries over to this game tomorrow, the Caps will have a good shot at the W tomorrow. Not to mention the fact the Caps' PK is surprisingly one of the best in the league at this point. If the Caps can shut down the Canucks' PP, their chances will be even better.

Props to Bruce Boudreau and the Caps for showing everyone they can change how others have perceived the team (powerhouse that can't play D) and play solid defense. It adds a whole new dynamic to a team that has already proven they have the talent to score lots of goals.

Should be a great game tomorrow. Looking forward to it!

Actually got to watch to TALENTED teams play a very good hockey game last evening. Bruins/Flyers. Two well skilled teams going at it. I forgot what watching 2 very good hockey teams play against each other looked like. Warning alert: the next time you see Ovy show up and play, will be the All Star.

are you kidding? had the caps won a game after giving up FIVE goals, this forum would be ripping Boudreau and the team to shreds.

Offence? Offence?!
We got shutout by Tampa (with Roloson in the net) 2 in a row!!!
Here is our offence: OV with 15 goals on the season, Backstrom hasn’t scored in 20 games or something, Semin leads the team with 18 goals, but he hasn’t scored since November (and he is probably out).
One more time: We got shutout by Tampa with Roloson in the net 2 games in a row, now that’s an offence!

That said, common you fockers have some pride! Wake the fock up!

This was in the Post's blog...

"There's obviously a few different reasons," forward Matt Hendricks said of the team's recent penchant for starting slow. "Obviously preparation might be one. I'm just speculating preparation. We're not as players doing what we need to do to get ready for the start of the game."

That doesn't sound good to me.

I took a fishing trip up to Western Canada going for Canucks, naturally. I tell you what, those little buggers are hard to catch. You could see them jumping out of the water but we couldnt pot a single one. We were all so frustrated we had a damn line brawl on the boat. We did catch up with Elisha Cuthbert to salvage our outing for Canucks.
