Jason, as I see it is a bit of head case. There are days, where is just making remarkable save after save. Then there are days he could not stop a beach ball. He was struggling with confidence this past year, then he went up to Dallas for about 2 weeks (did not play) but spent some time with Fuhr. He came back with some renewed vigor. Personally, Dan Ellis and Mike Smith were much closer the NHL than Jason, and Jason has been playing in the AHL the past two and half years.
I don't see Jason beating Osgood for a backup role to Lalime. I see Jason spending lots of time in Worcester. However, being a "Cash" fan, I hope he gets his shot. Right now I think it is a confidence thing.
Jason is probably a bit behind his expectations in Dallas which made him expendable to the Blues, but saying that i think this is not a bad pick up for the blues because jason's potential is still very high
