Saw this as well. So this means that Poulin or Lawson got sent down. Anybody know?

No, Reese was waived yesterday and we're carrying 3 goalies.

I guess this is good for Koskinens development. He missed a lot of time last year and i was upset with managements decision having 3 goalies down there. Theres only one friggin net. Keep Lawson up here and send Poulin down. He has played good, but he still needs some time. NO RUSH!!!

Damn, my first game of the year, and I hafta see a rusty DP give up 6 goals. Was looking forward to seeing Poulin play. Oh well.

I think we'll get a strong game out of DP.He's had this time off, been resting up..It seems he has played his best games when not overworked too much.

Let's go Isles

I wonder which Islander team will show up tonight, the one that beat the Penguins and Red Wings or the one that got spanked by the Senators and Blackhawks?

Pre-game talking about DP over-playing the puck. Oy.

That 2 on 0 sums up the Islanders season.

I think that is the 1st 2on 0 in NHL history that didn't result in a goal.

Johnny rushed it a bit. He had some time to elevate it.
But great stop by Miller.

Yea...parenteau not having any idea of what to do. He was not wide enough so miller didn't have to come across much at all and then he doesn't even hold the pucK at all to make miller get set so its tougher for him to move. Horrible play by papsmear & good save by miller on JT but it wasn't a "perfect" 2-0 as butch would have you believe. Its hideous how every single play & every islander is "great" or "tremendously talented". Also, I didn't realize the isles dressed some dude I never heard of...shrimp? Goring blows

I don't think he was expecting a pass back, it was a pretty weak shot
