I have used the magic 8 ball and asked it if the kings would be hiring any ex Flyer coaches and it said "YES".

Then I asked my black fox pepper to point to a picture and she went right to Fred Shero!!!

Now all we need is a computer, a picture of him from a magazine, some battery terminals clipped to the picture that are connected to the computer and for a few of us to sit around this device with I guess jocks on our heads making chanting noises.

You may laugh but I saw a documentary where these to young scientists did this exact same thing and they came away with a really pretty girl Djini for their troubles.

We should be able to get Fred Shero easy.

I'm not condoning removing Murray but for the purpose of the thread I have been campaigning for 3 years to get Tony Granato. The guy is an ex King, has an electric personality and draws respect, and simply was not given a fair shake in Colorado. When Colorado hired him mid season years back his team went on a 7 game winning streak and really turned the team around. He should have been brought back but the Aves went with a coach with a longer resume.

Granato is with the Pens but I would be willing to bet that he could be had this offseason. He did an admirable job in CO.

Boughner is with Columbus.. I think most organizations are willing to let their assistant coaches leave to become a head coach somewhere else.

Isn't Boughner just working for the BJ's and not in a coaching capacity? He is with the spitfire's the last I recalled and so I would think that if he were offered a job in the offseason he might consider it as well.

I like Granato and Big Bob but am not certain of my preference.

Personally Perrie Macguire (spelling mistake i think ) would make a good coach. The tsn reporter would have to get out of the contract there frist but don't really see a problem He knows the younger players due to his draft coverage and jr scouting. He knows alot of players due to his interviewing and between the bench reporting.( a helpful thing in player recruiting) I personally think he would be a great coach. He could bring a fresh propective to the la kings and more of a up to date type game.

If there's one person I could murder in this world, it would be Pierre McGuire. He makes me mute TSN games, I ****ing hate his voice and hate how he thinks he knows everything.

UGHHH that made me so mad, just thinking about him behind the bench.. **** :sha kehead

Wow, I should have looked that one up for myself. Well, if he is an assistant then game on just like Granato, right?

Thanks for pointing that out though AK.

Hahaha my man, no worries. But ya, I guess, we could probably interview him in the off-season though, can't hire him during the season.

I may not like TM but I am not sold on firing him during the offseason. I mean, I haven't liked him from the start and have said so but I have also said that I would be happily surprised if he did what I see as the impossible and lead us to a cup (or even close to it).

I will still say wait until February late and then if we are still struggling I would kick him out and put a temp at the job until the offseason anyways.

I don't know. To be honest with you I try not to think about it too much or too seriously. Thank goodness that there are better minds then mine at the helm.

Off season Bob or Tony, make it happen AK.

Coach Roy would be a wet dream but I doubt it will happen. He turned down the Avs. He wanted to stay in Quebec close to family if I recall. He has two sons whose careers are ahead of them but not in hockey. Yes, I love Patrick Roy and I keep up with him. Idolized him from a goalie's perspective though not so much a model of a good husband.

Fair enough. I hated the hiring, loudly proclaimed so, still hate that he is our coach but still hold out hope that we can get to the promise land despite him. Now...where is that Kool-Aid?
