I am happy with the long look BB gave to Hannan Green. He knows he can fall back on that now, if the need arises. I was preparing myself for no games together but the injury made it happen.
Erskine very active on keep ins

I will contradict locker and say Sarge looked great at RD in his limited ops this year.

Our defensemen are now back to giving about 7 feet of space to anyone who carries the puck across the blue line.

Not very happy with Neuvirth's work on the goal, but the powerplay looks better than it has in a while. It doesn't hurt that the Ottawa franchise has been reeling all year. Could be a needed slump buster.

It occurs to me that games seem to have a practice-like feel for Ovechkin.

Great little drop pass from Backstrom to Ovechkin. Pity about the execution, but seeing Backstrom rounding into form is encouraging.

Man, Johansson with a prime chance there. Little wrong with that line today.

Brian Elliott is just another goalie, no NHL coach could do anything about that. #BruceBoudreauExcuses

Fisher looks really good, I'm torn to trading for him. Assuming he is indeed available.

The one thing that I am never disappointed in is just how second team CSN coverage is.

So, 3 shots so far against an NHL doormat. I doubt Carolina and Detroit were playing like this.

Sarge Green may be more about avoiding Erskine/Poti Sarge.
Put MJ on PP1. The kid is ready for it.
