Crowd Fight at MSG vs Habs

Hey guys,

TSN's crew mentioned there was a "major league tilt" in the crowd tonight. Anyone got info, or better yet, video?

I heard a lot of crowd noise and some chants that didn't seem at all relevant to the game. This would explain it.

Heard ******* chants with the crowd looking up at one point so that would be it most likely.

What section was it? I'm assuming it was either in the 200's or 300's.

There were 2 I believe, one in sec 301, and the other in 300?

My seats are 302, I missed the first one, people told me about it when I got back from concession, the 2nd (300) happened right after, and it looked like security was letting them have at it.

well i was in 324, maybe i exagerated i wasnt THAT close to it but i could see everything that was happening. it was by one of the entrances in the corner across from me and to the left (i was almost center ice). I believe it was level with my section although it could have very well been the 200s. I'm almost positive 300s though.

This is a tease, haha. Story telling time, let's go

I'm assuming it was a Habs fan drunk out of his absolute mind.

the guy on the left was swinging like an absolute maniac. i believe he was wearing a rangers jersey. the guy on the right was wearing something dark so i couldnt tell if he was returning the punches but my money is the one on the left absolute messed up the one on the right. then the entire row below the fight cleared out and stood at the entrance basically blocking people from exiting or coming through it. the guy on the left was probably swinging for a good minute... rapid fire... i don't know how he didnt get tired.

well there was literally no security there for a good 20 seconds. then about 5-6 people from where i was sitting ran over. i found it strange as they kind of looked at the fighters for a good 10-15 seconds before getting involved.

the one part i couldn't see was if others from the top row started fighting with the fighter on the left. it seemed like the first fighter either got knocked out or fled while others started fighting for him. the guy throwing rapid punches was swinging in several different directions so im assuming others fought him...

I could see one happening Sunday night against Philly. Weekend game = more Flyer fans making the trip up which = more hostility.

it was about 10 sections away from where I was sitting... both of them were in the 300s... couldn't really see exactly what was going on... I did notice that it took a while for security to respond to the second fight.

Haha I said to my brother while watching the game "I bet there's a crowd fight going on right now." You could tell because of all the ******* chants despite nothing relevant happening on the ice.

Yeah I was hoping someone caught it on their Iphone or something.

Meh I'm going to the Vancouver game thursday so I doubt there will be many 'Nucks fans. Was hoping to see a fight but probably not.

Damnit guys (in attendance), these are the situations where you whip your phone out and record a grainy video and become a forum hero! Some guy in my section last year was nose to nose with an Islander fan and it looked like haymakers were about to start flying... I had my phone out recording in anticipation... The fight never transpired as security flew down and ejected the 4 Islander fans but I was ready to document the altercation!

I will be at the Flyers game this sunday.. I'll be sure to film and brewhahahs should they transpire.

In truth it was hard to see what was really going on as usual in a fight situation, but this I know: There was a black dude throwing rapid fire punches and he was ANGRY my friends!
