Holy cow they beat LA. I'm still waiting for the bottom to fall out of this thing.

WTF was Woywitka doing out there in the final minutes anyway?

Typical Kings fans. When they win its because of their talent level, coaching, and scouting staff. When Dallas wins its because of luck or reffing. Wonder where Kings17 is this season. I guess trolling isn't as easy when you are 10th in the West.

Yeah I noticed that guy as well, but props to the rest of the Kings board for pointing out that Dallas is, in fact, better than he thinks and not just "lucky".

Langs get the game winner! That's how you do it..!!

Kari made the big save on the PS and in that previous situation he almost puts it in by himself but notices that he cannot make the save on his leg and lifts it just in the right moment before Woywitka comes in.. To me close to impossible to act like that and actually move you'r leg away from the puck in that situation.. Think it's fair to say that he's back from that little slump..

And of course: Piss off Dustin Brown.. his cross-stick to Skrastins after tripping him was infuriating to me at least. Hopefully there's a bit more coming his away in springtime.

Only a couple off Detroit and Vancouver.. I predict that we're taking the no.1 spot from them in Vancouver next week.. BRING ON CANADA!

Great run by us. Love to see Loui and Laggenbrunner getting the goals. Kari was great.

Six points ahead of the Yotes. Great day for us.

Entertaining game. But **** the Kings.

Great to see Langenbrunner score the winner tonight. Really great game to watch, though I thought it would have been better with a couple fights and maybe a couple more insurance markers on the board for the guys in black. Everyone...Barch included looked pretty good.

Langenbrunner really impressed me tonight. He got rewarded with the goal on a nice feed from Richards 0 - who was excellent too - but Langenbrunner might have been the most complete Stars player. He was excellent along the boards in all three zones and on the back check all game. He adds a lot for sure.

The whole group of forwards just seems to make sense. Things aren't exactly clicking->swap Benn and Langs...or Neal is suddenly unavailable->bump Benn with Brad and Loui...I wouldn't be surprised to see Wandell move up and down the lines as well. It's a well-put-together machine.

And as long as our goaltenders mop up behind our defense, the Stars always seem to have a chance against any team.

I think it all has to do with what Burish mentioned during his interview before the game where he said that the team just has fun being around each other.

Last season we had virtually the same team, but between the new playing style and the "leaders" (I'm looking at you Marty and Mo) just being...meh...really killed the joy during the eason and it showed. The chemistry (and the knowledge of the system) is there now and it is definitely showing.

If we can't get Richards resigned, then that will be the death of it if you ask me.
We will instantly go from a good, solid team to mediocre at best.

That's something that'd come emanate from a Ducks (official) forum. Or maybe it's a Californian thing.

1) Holy crap, I had forgotten how exciting/nerve racking games can be when they actually matter. I felt as if I was watching a playoff game in the final 10 minutes of us just trying to run out the clock basically.

2) 3rd period defense was awesome. Holding them to 3 shots in the period with 2 minutes to go was amazing. No idea how much they ended up with but wows.

3) Lehtonen is a beast.

4) LANGENFREAKINBRUNNER

5) 12 points up on a team that was suppose to pwn us. Things have changed for the better since that 3-1 loss to LA to complete Dive Fest 2010.

6) Time to break a franchise record for consecutive wins on the road.

I think I saw a Kings fan post that claimed they only got one shot in the final 10 minutes or something silly like that.

No better team to do it against than EDM either. Though I have a feeling they're going to come out hard at home.

We're 46 games into the season, and this team is a point ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Let that sink in.

Anyone know if there's a place to view the postgame shows and interviews if you don't have FSSW? Apparently Richards had a pretty funny quote there about waving his NTC clause to go to a winning team, but already being on one.

Someone on the main Stars board posted something about it.

Quote:
Anyway, BRad said some interesting stuff on the PGS. Hope someone can find the audio so they can tell me if I heard what I thought I heard. These quotes are from memory, so may not be exact.

First, they asked him about the media attention with the team headed to Canada this week. He said "that's died down with how we are playing...if I was going to waive my NTC, it would be to go to a winning team, and I'm on a winning team, so why would I go anywhere"....hmmmmmm

Then this..."I know with the lenders here it's a little different, but if we can get it done now we will and if not then we will get it done in the summer". Maybe my wording is off, but when I was listening, he sounded like a guy who intends to stay here. Anybody else hear it? Am I crazy? Or did BRad just give us a hint?

The quote was pretty much that with the added part of him saying that if it (contract talks) has to go into the summer he wouldn't hold a grudge. I thought it sounded like a guy who wanted to stay here too.

i concur to the sentiments above, lets win 5 in a row and pluck number 8 straight on the road..

I think Peckham and barch will fight (attempt to)..peckham was mouthing off at the end of our last encounter, lets shut him up..

Danger game here i think, edmonton have been reasonable of late..lets do what we did to atlanta..get em 5-0 or 6-1.

Hopefully Kari gets a 3 day break and Raycroft gets the nod..

After the all star break we have a very challenging 5 games, lets mass as many points as possible now.
