Moulson to Bruins?

Just heard on the 98.5 Sports Hub (Boston) flash update that they're talking about Moulson coming to the Bruins in a trade. No idea where that is originating from.

If Moulson is dealt for a draft pick Snow is mentally instable. Simple as that.

Report is apparently coming from ESPN, so take that for what it's worth.

It BETTER not be for a draft pick, unless it's a #1 pick. Toronto's pick

If Moulson goes for a pick I'm all for going down to the coliseum and pulling Garth out of his office and just beating the **** out of him.

I would still have a problem with that. He scored 30 goals last season and is on pace for about 25 this year. Seems like he wants to say here, so why not resign him.

If I'm Snow I don't trade a 30 goal scorer for a draft pick.

But I'm not Snow.

if you were snow you'd have to make dumb trades like this and be wangs lapdog and I doubt you'd ever be either of those 2 things.

Players for picks, how shocking, NOT. Some things will never change on the island.

At this rate, the team will have a tough time icing a lineup to compete with McGill University, let alone an AHL squad.

Not to mention the affect this would have on Tavares!

Who the hell is he going to play with if Moulson is traded? Please Snow, use your brain.

I'm sorry, but if it's for Toronto's #1 pick, it's a great move. My guess is, a crappy prospect and a #2 pick. Snow isn't good enough a GM to get Toronto's #1 pick from Boston.

*************** **BREAKING NEWS** Moulson not going to Boston > But the Thrashers have made a late bid for Matt's services. Snow giving ultimatum to agent

*************** **BREAKING NEWS** This just in from my Islander Source: Moulson either agrees to contract extension or he will be traded within 72Hours

After what moulson said recently about wanting to stay with the isles, this would be a huge kick in the nuts to him & wuld probably deter any other free agent from signing here...and its not like there aren't enough issues with trying to sign ufa's as is. Now the team simply has no loyalty to players who wish to remain loyal & with the team.
Snow does this and its a huge FU to the rest of the team and esp the fans. Unless the return is completely one-sided, the trade can't happen...not for picks.

So the day after the guy says great things about the organization, Snow gives him an ultimatum. I either don't believe that or Snow is just idiotic.

After Incarcerated Bob's last twitter scuffle with Botta, I cant believe or disbelieve.....I'll doubt it until I see it, though.

Matt Moulson is a good hockey player on a bad team. I really do not think Moulson is worth more than 3 million dollars a year.(3 years 9 or 10 million max) If Moulson is looking for 3.5-4.0 million a year for 3-4 years I can understand trading Moulson. I know its bad PR for the islanders to trade him but its better to get something (2 round pick and a prospect) than nothing. Snow has done jack sh-t but I would not blame him for trading Moulson. It might be easier locking up Parenteau 2 years for $800,000 per and making room for EL Nino and our top 3 pick in 2011 (Gabriel Landeskog???)
WE ARE WORKING ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET! It stinks but it is what it is!
