Despite the horrendous collapse, lots of positives tonight.

Most notably, 2nd strong game in a row for all of Eller, Subban, and Kostitsyn. Nice to see these guys (hopefully) waking up now. Just gotta pray they stay consistent for a while.

You could tell Wizz wasn't at his best tonight. I hope he stays home from practice until Friday's game to rest up.

Tomorrow night isn't going to be easy. Price's 18 minutes and 4 shots aren't a big deal, he'll be back in... but the team had to battle for 60+ minutes tonight, so between that and the flu going around, we'll have a lot of tired bodies. Need a quick start vs. Buffalo!

Wow, they're really blowing up this celebration. Now they're talking about his teammates not rushing up to him on Sportsnet.

Rene Bourque thought it was a little much. I like what Tanguay said "He scored a game winning goal, he can do whatever he wants"

I've never seen a player get so much attention over nothing.

Just thought of this... PK learned to play the white way during the past few weeks, now does he need to learn the "white way" to celebrate?

Yes I believe it is, since I like JGRB, I can't ban him. I can change his user name and avatar to something hideous though.
I will come good on the streaking. Not sure why a bunch of guys want to see my pasty white-ass though....

It's really fascinating to me...EVERYTHING PK Subban does gets analyzed and broken down

He scores his first OT goal in the NHL, on home ice, and people are knocking his celebration and coming up with theories that he's not liked by his teamates.

The double standard is blatant...

I think what kills me is that when PK Subban was playing the EXACT same way for Team Canada at the World Juniors, TSN, Sportsnet, RDS all LOVED PK...but now that's he's in the NHL, he's being disrespectful lol

Don't change a thing PK!

I totally agree with Tanguay there.

The NHL in general is too touchy about this sort of stuff. Like how the Pens reacted to Price's samurai stance celebration.

It's a game, people...

Anyway, I think that Subban's notoriety is now becoming a positive (just look at how much he got Dubinsky off his game when we last played the Rangers), and I get the sense that him and the rest of the team are getting more used to one another.

Tanguay with some class when asked about Subban's celebration..."There was nothing wrong with it, I wish we had scored so we could have done it"..."his celebration gets the fans excited and it is good for the game".

Nice.

It's kind of sad. The guy is exuberant, brings his own style to the game and he is getting whipped for it.

I remember the backlash Ovechkin got after he scored his 60th a few seasons ago... I mean come on... These guys are good for the game, not bad.

So, anyone thinks Bouwmester is going to mocks Subbans celebration during the Heritage Classic?
