hmmm, why isn't that one waived off? Oh yeah, because the Lightning scored it...

Garon should have had that.

Just a terrible call. Huge momentum changer.

I don't blame Garon for that, since Tyutin decided he didn't want to defend the league's top goal-scorer

Nash isn't having the best game.
Keeps getting passes into his skates (team) and losing the puck (him)
Hopefully picks it up the rest of the game

Both goalies look pretty bad. This game should be 3-3 going into the 2nd.

Hope the Jackets bury one of those gifts from Roloson.

I hate that rule. Either you blew the whistle or you didn't. And half the time they blow it when they shouldn't.

As soon as we have the technology to eliminate refs, I'm up for it.

St Louis looks like a midget. And I would much rather have arniel than boucher. Wish we played in the week east. Amazing how different jake looks when he decides to show up.

Marty is a midget, but I'd take him on my team any day of the week,

As for the weak East, I think the real thing about the East is that there isn't the depth of the West. But the top 6-8 teams are every bit as good as their Western Conference counterparts. We'd probably have more points by beating up on the Isles, Devils, etc., but I don't know that it is a foregone conclusion that we'd be a playoff team this year even if we were in the East.

After the replay I'm not really getting the "contact" deal...
Rolo didn't have the puck and Clark didn't make any more contact than most other "dirty/garbage" goals that teams do...

Maybe he played it up like he used to in Edmonton
