Who is next from the AHL

what forwards will get called up now after Cams and Patches are both out for a while and Pouliot under the weather and Halpern a little iffy. I think the Habs will have to call up 2-3 forwards for back to back games this weekend. My guess White,Maxwell and Boyd. with an outside chance Henry or Wyman.

There is no sure thing (no one is dominating a la MaxPac or Desharnais) but Wyman has been as hot as anybody lately.

I'd like to see Maxwell or maybe White, but it'll probably be Boyd.

I believe it'll be White, Boyd and Maxwell who'll get the first cracks at the lineup. Possibly in that order.

Boyd - he has to go through re-entry first I believe.

White just came back from injury and has not been that good. Palushaj is really struggling and personally I am not Maxwell's biggest fan from what I have seen from him in his 20ish games with Montreal so I don't think he will add anything.

Forget Boyd, they wont give him away. Boyd has to go through re-entry waivers so he'll be snatched up this time for sure.

If Cammy is out for a long time and Patches too it will be a trade coming, not a call up as that is 1/3 of the top 6 missing.

I agree with your assessment but I think it could be Maxwell and should be Wyman.

There is nothing down there that can replace Max, forget about Cammy...unless there is some hidden gem that comes out of nowhere.

Palushaj hasn't played well the last month or so. He only has 2 points in the last 12 games. If he can't score in the AHL he has no chance yet in the NHL.

I think the blues would pick up Boyd on re-entry waivers if the Habs called him up.

It looked like Gill was hurt at the end of the game and if so the Habs will also have to bring up a d-man. They would have Wiz,Hamerlik,Subban,Spacek,Weber and Picard. I think the Habs might bring up a guy like Henry if Gill can't play this weekend. I know most people think Carle is next in line but with a big guy like Gill out I think the Habs will bring in a big dman like Henry plus with all the injuried forwards Henry could step in and play forward if needed plus bring some muscle. Henry would fill 3 holes 7 D,4th line Forward and a tough guy.
