Easy AKAY,

We really are closer this year than last year in many areas. You know your hockey so no point in outlining everything but regardless of what is happening on the ice we are a completely stacked team in as far as talent goes.

What is missing is the key ingredient that takes us from a deep/talented system/team and turns us into a freaking legitimate cup contender.

Maybe we are experiencing the last bit of growing pains or maybe you are right but I am going to go on
continuing to believe that we are very close to being one of the best than one of the worst until I see us dismantle.

There's just no accountability, apparently. 2-9 in 11 means something, anything must be done to shake this team up. I don't see anything that leads me to think this team is even going to get a whiff of the playoffs this year.

Dean doesn't have the balls to do it. He gets to close to the staff.

Colorado is tied 3-3 with Vancouver going into the 3rd.

Unlike us, the Avs have shown they can milk a game into OT.

So expect them to at least get a point.

And the Wild are about to beat the Oilers and jump ahead of us with 51 points.

Really, we're in dire ****ing straights.

We have not once put the lines out that were scoring all the goals since the D has been healthy.

As soon as Mitchell came back, Poni was the top line LW. Go back to the lines when we were scoring goals...and let our healthy D carry us.

Simple right?

Lost Angeles - Lose Again? You pick?

I hope they hold a tryout this week. All I need on my resume is a relentless dumper of the puck. Nickname: "the wallpaper"

This GM has no stones to do the right thing. We're in a huge tailspin and this guy goes into hiding. What an *******!

I'm sure GM's are licking their chops right now!

GM's are probably licking their chops right now waiting for DL to try and make a move. Nobody's going to make it easy on him to swing a deal in the Kings' favor right now.

Nope, we definitely didn't need to add a first line winger or second line center this summer. Poni was going to replace Frolov and we are going to be just as good as we were in 2010.

How much longer until you kool-aid drinkers realize just how bad this team is?

When Dean Lombardi took over this team had 89 points, the way things are going the Kings will struggle to match that total this season. Just embarrassing how bad this team is after five seasons, but maybe it shouldn't be a surprise to us when you have someone who has never won anything of significance at the NHL level given complete control of the franchise, five years later you have a team that is almost surely going to miss the playoffs and has gaping holes all over the roster.

This team needs to clean house this offseason, I can smell the stench Lombardi and Murray have left on this team ll the way in the midwest.

Murray should be fired. Even if it isn't his fault (looking at you Quick), this team can't just go through this another game. Our next two games are against Phoenix who have utterly destroyed us this year when we've played Murray's style.

If Murray coaches on Thursday, we will lose big.

Remember when the Detroit OT win was the turning point for the Kings season? I said that it was way too early for that **** and was shouted down.

Remember when I said the Kings were going to be sellers? Anyone expect Dean to be a buyer at the deadline? Handzus, Poni and Williams are UFA. I would keep and try to sign Williams, but only if Murray is gone.

I apologize to JT when I said that Mitchell and Poni would turn around the Kings season. He was right, no players can turn this team around with Murray at the helm.

Go Kings?

The asking price for front line winger just went to Two roster players for the Kings.

From Elliott,

"final in st. louis---Blues 2, Kings 1. this team cannot continue like this. it wasn't just a bad goal by quick. it was absence of leadership"

"and absence of any creativity up front. we know they lack speed. but if you lack creativity and still and have no legit 1st line u won't win"

"that should have read "creativity and skill" and don't have a legit 1st line, you won't win. or a legit 2nd line for that matter."

Atleast she's got a pair

And that leaves only one option, and I'm sure we can all figure out what that is.

The Kings do have quite a few player dumps right now that should be attractive to other teams. Poni, Williams and Handzus would look great on contenders looking for a 3rd line lwer, a 2nd line rwer and a 3rd line center.

You know it's bad when guys like Pierre LeBrun and Adrian Dater are going out of their way to tweet how shocked they are about the Kings losing like this. **** man, Murray being fired at this point is a no-brainer
