How ironic my friends also ran into pacioretty today and they told him the same thing.

wish all you want, it's not going to happen

maybe if we get to the SCF (lol) but training camp at the earliest is what the Canadiens have always said was the return date.

even martin on hockey central confirmed it last week.

Frined of mine saw him a week ago at Queue de cheval (restaurant) and he's aiming for a next training camp come back. He says is recovery is going very well and he expects afull recovery and come back for next training camp.

Forget this year, not happening.

Really hope he doesn't come back this year. It's not worth it.

If we actually made it to the finals maybe he'd be back, still have my doubts. It would take a 93 type run for it to happen though, meaning getting lucky enough to beat some quality teams like Boston and also play teams we match up better against than others

Any news on Kostitsyn?

He's not at the morning practice and didn't look alright when he came back during the game.

Hope he has nothing serious.

He finished the game and had 2 days to recover, they are probably being cautious. They'll probably do something to lower the swelling before the game.

I'm sure he is fine, playing with a deep bruise more than likely on his in-step of the foot. Making skating a little painful.

Chris Stevenson just tweeted that Kostitsyn isn't practising today, and his spot is on the Plekanec like is being taken by Halpern. He's now reporting that Martin says both Halprn and AK are game-time decisions.

I think AK is out and Halpern in. Probably on the Pleky line like that experiment a few weeks ago.

This is the playoff's, you won't get any info.

He could of broken half his foot and the best you're going to get is that he has a "Lower body contusion or injury and is day to day"

Question for Dr. Recchi:

How could he have finished the game (and extremely well I might add) and then have something wrong? Only thing I can think of is swelling due to a contusion. Don't they inject cortisol to reduce swelling?

I want Halpern back, but at center where he can win faceoffs. Really don't want the Plex-Cammy-Halpern line cuz as great of a shutdown line it will be, don't see them scoring as much as with AK. If Halpern moves to center, I see Eller going to wing. Doubt Davey gets moved from center.

NO WAY he would've finished the game with a broken foot... My guess is it'll be Kostitsyn's decision on whether or not he feels comfortable enough playing with the pain. I sure do want him in.

I already read in a Dave stubbs article today that Martin says he's fine. He probably has a bruise on his foot and it's swollen a bit, even if Halpern is on Pleks line and AK slides in with Eller just gives more of a punch

I hope he is in so he can lay some bone crushing checks on Chara!!! Oh wait...no I don't. Chara is such a nice guy, I hope that AK doesn't hurt him.

Just watching the cbc Wings/Yotes intermission. The announcers were questioning whether Kostitsyn would play tonight. The announcer said it was an ankle injury.

I wouldn't mind seeing that AK Eller Moen line again. Remember how well they played and they can play physical on the Bruins D.

I would do Pyatt DDH White as 4th line. Sit Pouliot he's been the worse player on the team lately.
