I suppose so, but isn't the AHL allstar game coming up as well. Why send him down now, maybe send down Engqvist, but its not much of a caps saving really.

dude seriously?
its in the first post...i usually dont do this but when the op takes the time to put everything for you on the first post and you blatantly ignore it its kinda annoying...
it took you more time to type your question than it would of been to look it up

anyway
jan 19th was reported out for 4 weeks...if 4 weeks is the max you might see him..

The AHL Skills comp is tonight, the Dogs played last night (and sucked). Monday night is the All Star game. The league starts back up on Thrusday, Dogs next game is Friday.

White's cap hit is $3,414 a day.
Engqvist is $4,839 a day.

MAGodin Marc Antoine Godin
Michael Cammalleri made the trip to Washington but didn't skate with the team. Might skate on his own tomorrow.

MA Godin again tweeted that Cammalleri won't play the next two games but should be back soon.

To be honest take your time cammy. I think he can be a difference maker in the playoffs for us.

I don't like this.

I'd rather see:

Pouliot - Gomez - Gionta (pipe dream)
MaxPac - Plek - Kostitsyn
Eller - Desharnais - Darche
Moen - Halpern - White/Pyatt

edit: looks like Whitey's not coming back up.

guess not, too bad...

also Martin confirmed that Eller was going to play wing rest of season.. as Desharnais took his spot at center..

sign him up
however last thing i personally want is him (or anyone else for that matter) rushed back a bit to early potentially re-injuring himself again.

Wouldn't be a return from injury thread without someone saying that. Props for it being in the first reply.

We're not winning the cup anyway, we can afford him to be re-injured at the rate he's been producing too.

Yeah... The article says he MIGHT return this weekend if he feels good enough. Could a mod change the title of the thread please? I know I'm being picky.

Left-winger Michael Cammalleri, who is out with a separated shoulder, accompanied the team but there's no hint that he will be back soon.

"It's still pretty tender but I can't put a timetable on when I'll be back," Cammalleri said after he went through some off-ice training with strength coach Pierre Allard. "The good thing about an upper-body injury is that you maintain your fitness level and I'll try to skate tomorrow morning."

Agreed..........as best as I can translate he maybe will be on skates this weekend. In the interim I truly believe he enjoys the attention he's getting.

I'm not getting my hopes up for anything. Cammalleri is a great sniper when he's on but frankly I'm not opposed to seeing what happens puck possession wise with him out of the lineup.

Hope he's not rushing himself. If not, it will be nice to see him back out there.

I just look at his track record, since wearing a Habs jersey, and I see two major injuries in two seasons. I think of Markov right away, because he's always injured but still rushes himself back ahead of the expected timeline. If Cammy is rushing himself, I'd hate to see him go down again this year.

Why do injuries suck for the Habs? "Yay he's back he's finally ba... awww."

I've dislocated my shoulder this way before (second time it came out).. it wasn't pretty.

Unbelievable how quickly he's healing.. this weekend would be very soon, almost too soon. With shoulders you have to be careful not to cause any long term damage.
