Contrairement à une information qui circule sur twitter, Benoit Pouliot n'a pas quitté le match en béquilles hier. Il n'est pas blessé.
Translation: Contrary to a twitter rumor, Benoit Pouliot did not leave the arena on crutches. He is not injured.

In a way, the crutches would have explained how badly he played last night... now, there's no excuses.

I don't understand why players like Pouliot have such a short leash with the fans...it makes no sense. I can count the number of bad games the guy has had this season on one hand. He's been probably our best forward after Plekanec. Jeez guys **** relax a bit, everyone is allowed to have bad games. Cammalleri has way more ****** games and he gets 1/10th the flak pouliot does.

I can't comment on his play last night ? I said he had a bad game... is it true ? Did I say he sucks and needs to be traded.

For now I've left it as a question in this thread title. I'm sure though, that we'll all know the truth in the next few hours or so.

The problem is when Pouliot has a bad game, he starts turning the puck over at bad times and causing odd man rushes against us.

Renaud is pretty reliable. I would take that info out of the title.

I know, but as of now we have two sources claiming two different things. If you or someone else can find a third source to back what Renaud is saying. I'll definitely remove it.

There's no more integrity when it comes to journalism in montreal (only hockey related). People will stoop to anything for attention.

Quick to blame it on a source there, Tony. Anyways, if it was a source, I suggest he fire him. To mistaken Gorges for Pouliot? Wow. I think it's about time for all of us to call out these media figures, that follow a TMZesque approach. It's sickening to know that these cronies have "sources" out there that are spying on everyone, and usually everything they report is false. I'm sick of it, to tell you the truth.

On the note of injuries now, if it hasn't been discussed already, Cammy won't be back this weekend.

He can't even fire pucks right now, according to RDS. However, he'll lace up the skates today for some skating drills. I really hope that shoulder isn't as bad as I expected it to be.

I should have guessed. Thanks Frogurt, I'll edit the title now.

Edit: Thanks CS, I'll remove Cammy from the title as well.

He skated yesterday RDS showed a quick clip. From what I could tell he was still heavily favoring that left shoulder.

I agree with you but you can't really get angry at fans who occasionally hate on Pouliot--they do that because deep down they really like him and know how good he can be.

Yes he's been one of our better forwards this year, but unfortunately that's not saying much. He's still in that group (and that group consists of pretty much everyone besides Plekanec, Darche, Pacioretty and Desharnais) of players who you know can do way more to help the team.

All that said, he doesn't get many opportunities to shine more than he has. Despite his success this year on the 3rd line, i still think he needs to play more minutes in order to get into his zone. Considering how well they've playing, i don't see why Martin doesn't just play that line as much Gomez's. I remember a time when we had 3rd line maybe in the early 2000's that played 15-17 minutes a game (I think Bonk was on it?) Considering how little Gomez and co. are producing, this should be tried again. i mean how many comebacks in the past month have been orchestrated by the 3rd line? Most of them i'd say.

Because it is not coming from a "french" media... Like Mckenzie and the TSN boys announcing Burns' death while he was still alive.

Get this man a job in the "French" media. You'd fit right in

Tsn actually confirmed he was alive. Why do you make stuff up just to bash English stuff all the time
