I wonder if Glencross gets suspended for that hit. If so, does Conroy finally draw back in?

I'd bet on it. He's a repeat offender too, which doesn't help his case.

Is Kiprusoff ever struggling right now. I have no doubt he'll snap ou of it but you have to wonder how long it will take during this important stretch of hockey for the Flames. That 4th Wild goal was one he just can't let in. It was brutal.

If you were Kipper would get excited to play behind this team?

Nope, but Karlsson gets excited; he should be starting more.

Sure the team is not playing great but it seems to me that in the games that kipper is getting pulled the flames are the better team the majority of the time he is in there and yet he still gives up goals. Right now the flames are outshooting the wild but about ten shots and also in that Carolina game the flames were outshooting the hurricanes while kipper was getting scored on. I know shot are more of a quality vs quantity thing buy when your struggling as a goalie you aim to out play the guy at the other end of the ice and i don't believe kipper has done that lately so kipper does take some blame for these lopsided games. Fortunately the flames came back in two of them , but not tonight
EDIT: gotta feel bad for kipper though. Tries his best every night and yet continues to struggle.

And this boys and girls is a prime example of why the Flames won't make the playoffs.

the wild always render the flames useless, and the games are so boring.. kipper needs to step up, not sure if letting him "play through this" is the answer

Maybe the Flames need a few more games like this to finally make management make the re-build decision.

They may only be 8 points out, but they are in 14th place. Are they really going to be able to pass 6 teams and pull a St. Louis from 2009?

God I can't take this team, they play a great road trip overall and then they come out with a stinker like tonight. There is just no consistency from this team whatsoever. I wish they would either become a potential playoff team, or continue to lose. This in between stuff is horrible.

On sides notes, Kipper was horrendous tonight...again. And man send Backlund down to the farm already. Five something minutes a game? Either play him on the top 2 lines over the useless Stajan, or send him to the Heat to get some topline minutes. He is not going to develop any better than Boyd the way he is being used. Absolutely awful way to handle a prospect like Backlund.

I wouldn't worry about that too much, they've been among the bottom 10 teams for the better part of the season. I would be shocked if we didn't get a top 10 pick at the very least.

wow i was at the game and Kipper got the Carey Price cheer for stopping a clear. No bow though

And by the way it is not such a surprise for a team to suck after a successful road trip, most teams usually lose after a road trip when coming home.

Man this team just freaking blows!!! I will now root for continued losses, that will surely get us a good pick and maybe wake the management to make changes.

So what team do you guys now root to make for the cup? My 2nd favorite is LA but they are sticking it up also... guess Ill just go golfing.

Just got home, glad I missed this gong show of a game. I knew it was too good to be true with a well played road trip. Back to normal I see.

Give your head a shake. You're just making excuses for a bad team playing a bad game. Show me the stats that prove most teams usually lose a home game after a road trip. I'd wager it's the other way around.

This is the kind of loss that makes me smile and realize that no matter what, this team is just too talentless to make some last-gasp run at a post-season berth and torpedo our shot at a franchise player. It's rough now, but soon it will be good to be a Flame fan again.

Wager all you want, I bet on sports on a regular basis. When a team comes home after a road trip they are always favored and usually you can make a good amount of cash on it. You can disagree all you want, my winnings say otherwise.

not an excuse by the way......

Still waiting for facts to support your claim.. Your word on these so called winnings is hardly evidence..you can disagree all you want...

quite often when teams return from a decent length road trip they struggle in their first game back... regardless of how successful the trip was
