I'm a bit disapointed at Schultz points and PIMs so far. Could somebody that watches a lot of the Dogs tell me if the fights and points will come?

I still hope to see him in 2 years being our enforcer that can chip in 8-10 goals.

From what I saw, heard and read, Schultz hasn't been much of a factor in Hamilton so far. It remains to be seen if he ever makes the NHL, and if he does I think it will be after 3 maybe 4 years in the A. Conditioning and skating seems to be the main issues.

As a physical player and a fighter, he has to adjust from being to top dog to one of the boys.

In junior, he was fighting kids of his age. Now, he has to fight men who do that for their living. Hell, Schultz his only 21 years old. He's still adjusting to the pros.

Your disappointed at Schultz's points? Is it the 0 goals, 0 assists or 0 points that's disappointing?

He has had a couple fights this year, but most games has looked lost on the ice and usually gets very little ice time.

If he comes in better shape next season he might make a good impression.

When are they going to bring Dawes up to play with Eller and Kostitsyn?

He should really start passing the puck. 6 goals, no assists in 4 games with the 'Dogs.

Hi, montreal? It's me Nigel calling. I know you're not short on offense or anything, but maybe you can squeeze me in for a game or 18

Having attended several Bulldog games this year, Schultz has been practically invisible. Probably one of the least "impressive" players on the team. If he plays the same way next year, a release may not be far behind! Hope he picks it up.

Agreed, but some of the blame should fall on management imo, as I have been asking myself why they have kept him in the AHL. I would rather see him play a lot in the ECHL then play a little in the AHL.

He needs to work on his skating, foot speed and mobility.

Dawes leads the AHL in goals now. Who says the Habs don't care about the Dogs success now.

They should call him up. He would look good with Eller and Kost.

He usually does. He's known as a very physically strong person despite his size.

Ah, perfect. Can't afford anymore players on this roster who can't come out of the corner with the puck.

Can anyone give me an idea of what the lines look like in Hamilton with Dawes in the lineup?

What happens if he gets claimed? Who would you send down? Let him help Hamilton for now, some kids might learn some things from him. Next fall if he plays good then leave him on the big club, otherwise they would probably send White down.

Thanks!

Looks rough down the middle with no Maxwell or Desharnais.

Did Conboy actually take a face-off? Cause it looks ridiculous to keep Boyd as a winger when the middle is so weak. But becoming a center would make Conboy a much more versatile player and would increase is chances of being a Habs one day.
