a 2nd or edmonton 3rd and edmonton 4th.

and foster? seriously? Ottawa has about as much use for him as edmonton does.

Take Rupp, Pens will need Asham for the playoffs where he will physically dominate players. Rupp is good for taking bad penaltys at bad times.

Sure is a lot of guys out there, I just don't know that we pick any up at the moment. UFA's really have no value to this club and are most likely going to go to playoff teams.

Clarkson is one guy I'd look at that I think could be had. Ott as much as I love the guy, there is no way Dallas moves him.

Isles have konopka, but not sure if he available. Obviously if you overpay, snow wilL deal him, but he's money on faceoffs, he'll fight anyone & he's pretty decent on the pk. Not the normal combo for a guy who's always at the top of the nhl in fighting majors. Oh or you can just have gillies...for nada.
I really wanted us to go for Konopka this summer. Is he not a UFA coming up? Why would we trade anything for him when we can make him an offer this summer? Unless the Isles want to take a bum like Kurtis Foster or Zac Stortini, I'm not wanting to trade for an upcoming UFA, but I think Knopka could have value for the Oilers both now and in the future.

The only problem with Clarkson is his contract. Lou gave him way more than he is worth, if we are trading someone like Brule for him, then fine, but not for anything of major value. Perhaps Foster? NJ is having problems on defense, but I don't know if Foster would help anything.

Pretty much my thinking. Give up one of our bad contracts.

I think a player like Carcillo would look nice here and then sign Konopka in the off season. That would give us a very good face off player and a nasty player that can still play the game.

I doubt it. Gagner is really are only young proven center that can play top 6. Not moving him for Neil and a pick. Unless that pick is your 1st and even then there is probably doubts on the Oiler side.

As others posted previously, both Boogard - cap dump recover from concussion, but possibly the biggest enforcer and Avery (the x factor w/some skill) can be had.... for little.

What does Edmonton offer for Matt Bradley? Not interested in draft picks. Minimal interest in prospects.

You can have both Asham and Rupp for picks.

Would like any of these please

Ott
Morrow
Clutterbuck
Backes
Clarkson
Lucic

The odds of landing one of those above.

Ask Lloyd Christmas.

Oilers have to draft one and develop one.

What would it cost to get Jared Boll out of Colombus? What is Colombus looking for?

When you don't want picks and you don't want prospects, that kind of leaves you with nothing.

A guy who plays pretty much whenever he's healthy on a contending team > guy who often gets scratched on the Oilers.

There really isn't much on the Oilers that interests the Caps right now, given their current situation. Just curious if the Oilers fans could come up with some creative deal involving Bradley for something useful. Didn't really have high expectations.

Please tell me you're Steve Tambellini and you're about to make a call to Holmgren.
