It was interference so he probably did something after he took him down initially.

It has been 1 period. PAP is still a 1st line forward and the team is still losing 1-0. They still suck and would have sucked.

Not a good penalty by Parenteau, but the guy has a chippiness to him that I like and has shown great chemistry with Okposo early on.

A full season of Okposo and Streit is at least 12-14 more points than we have now, we have suited up a lot of lame guys this year.

PAP gives you effort, probably a future 4th liner for us, only a matter of time before Okposo is on that line.

That wasn't a bad period. Good to have KO back, sucks that he still can't hit the net.

I would hope PA is off this team. I don't see him in our future at all.

KO is never going to be a great goal scorer, he is our Michael Peca type of smart forward that can play in 3 zones.

That still puts us in 12-13th place. The roster is flat out weak. It has 2 guys not counting Weight who have had a 20 goal season. That is terrible offensive depth even with Okposo back.

If he was a 4th line forward (instead of Gillies), nobody would be killing him... he is being killed because of his inflated role. He plays hard and if reduced to 10 minutes per night, would still get 10-12 goals a year, which is great for a 4th line guy who can also see PP action and shootouts.

Slick set-up by JT but that is why KO scores so little...........great shot, misses net.
Dont want to rag on him, glad he's back, but he has to fix that.

True, I mean I did kill Snow for not getting a veteran top 6 forward and not replacing Park or Bergenheim in the bottom 6.

But we would not be out of it so early in the season with those guys in the lineup.

On the 4th line he would be ok. On this team he needs to be on one of the top lines due to the GM sucking balls and not doing anything this off season

Alexander Ovechkin apparently fills the Sean Avery role for the Washington Capitals. Difference is, he also fills the Alexander Ovechkin role.
