And I totally agree with you on that point, the inability to add a top 6 forward with experience is what puts PAP over his head.... if PAP is a 4th line guy with 25 points, I bet he would be more liked than hated.

Colliton

The only thing I cannot take more than Colliton...Is that our idiot coach puts him on the 3rd line.

Do you think that what might get Bailey going is putting him with someone who can maybe, just maybe, create some offense as well? Not some fill-in player who won't be here next season?

Speaking of...Stop wasting Matt Martin on the 4th line. Give that kid a chance on the 3rd line.

Unfortunately, on this team he will be in this inflated role and will not play in the role he should be in. This is the major problem with this team.

Yes I was thinking about the same thing. It would be great to have Martin on that line at this point. Collition reeks of AHL quality.

BTW It looks like Marty is out against Ovy. Marty looked like he sorta lost his balance for a sec on the goal but other than that they played that line pretty well (Comeau also had one brutal giveaway that almost led to a goal).

True..... if we added Connolly and Laich in the offseason at 20% overpayment, PAP would be on the 4th line next year, being an agitator with some offense (a huge upgrade over the Jon Sim variety)

The stupid two goal game won Colliton like three weeks worth of shifts (Its not just Capy that works that way, its like that for almost every team, except when Tambo scored last year ).

OK - Apology accepted. But please refrain from making any further comments until you're watching a game on a format where you can actually SEE what's going on.

PaP would be awful in any role..... I don't see how trying to hide him on the fourth line helps anything. Maybe he bumps into Konopka one too many times and gets KTFO? I dunno..... that would be pretty cool to see I guess.

PAP is essentially taking over Okposo's place. I have a feeling he would have been relegated to the 4th line or waived very soon after the season start had Okposo stayed healthy.

Colliton is awful he is in the JJ class having a weak shot, slow skater, step behind, weak on d and the list can go on

You're really that sold on Connolly?

I wouldn't overpay for Connolly...I pray we don't get Connolly. Waste of time. Snow might as well plan on who will be replacing Connolly in our lineup.

He would be fine in the 11-13th forward role. On this team he is the number 3-4 guy. Players in the 11-13 area all have holes in their game which prevent them from being on top lines.

These ALLSTATE commercials

Side note...These Allstate commercials are truly so dumb. Let me see if I understand.

The guy who continually gets you into accidents is the same guy you want to take insurance advice from?

Indeed, if people think Marty-neck is bad with injuries Connolly may actually 1up him

Parenteau is not capable of filling a bottom 6 role because he isn't good enough defensively. His stat line is irrelevant.

Eh...The GPS was worth a chuckle the first time I saw it.

At least it's not some Islander lifting chains (I guess they attach onto the skates during the game, or that stupid year old recycled More Than A Feeling lottery commercial. God, lottery commercials must go on at least 23 times a game!

Comeau has to stop that stupid toe drag move in his own zone. Thats 3 times today and he gave it up twice.

Marty got caught flat there. JT can't be out against that line though, both him and PAP are lazy getting back.

Snow has to lock Grabner up. Can't believe Florida waived him.
