The Two Horse Goal Scoring Race

In the blue corner, hailing from Winkler, Manitoba, weighing in at 6'4, 245lb, The "Flying Fridge"... Dustin Penner!

His opponent... In the orange corner, born in Calgary, Alberta, weighing in at 6'1, 194 lbs, The Kingston Cannonball... Taylor Hall!

Taylor Hall leads the team with 16 goals, 1 more then current linemate Dustin Penner. Penner is coming off a 32 goal campaign last season. Taylor Hall is coming off a boy scouts camping adventure and 2 back-to-back Memorial Cup MVPs. Both have played 48 games this season.

Who comes out on top?

I think it will be very close but will depend on who plays with who.
if hemsky comes back sometime this season and they put penner-hemsky together then I think penner will win.

if they reunite the hall-horc-eberle line and put penner with brule-cogs again hall will win.

Either way I'm hoping both hit 30 this year

Hall.

Penner may not even be here after the deadline. And as the season draws to an end and the games become less and less meaningful, young players will get more of a chance to play. Additionally, Hall gets better and better with each game he plays. Penner is in his mid 20s and his steps forward will be smaller and less frequent.
