After much deliberation I've decided to go with a cerebral defenseman to build my team around. An excellent pp QB, solid defensively, and one of the best players to never win a cup... Brad Park.
Was hoping he would free fall to 41, guess it was wishful thinking.

Brad Park is such an elite well-rounded defenseman. It just seems to me like he never gets due credit. From what I can tell, he's closer to Potvin, Lidstrom, and co. then he is to the tier of second round defensemen that he gets put in.
I also don't understand why Larry Robinson is considered better than him at all.

Pick coming in a few minutes...
Some people attach a lot of significance when a player doesn't win a Cup. It is sometimes fair and sometimes unfair depending on the opportunities.
I still think Larry is better overall but Brad Park is an excellent defenseman, thats for sure.
- great leader
- proven winner and clutch playoff performer
- two-way center who also plays a high-skill, offensively-charged game and can adapt and thrive in several different systems depending on the direction I choose to take my team.

I knew M*** S****** would be on your radar...didn't expect *** *****...
Boy I'm stumped. You could be talking about any one of the hundreds of players with 10 letters in their names and the initials M.S. who generally go around this time in the ATD.
Maybe I'm just cranky today, but why not just spell the name out fully if you're going to be so obvious about it? Is saying B**** O** when the first overall pick on the clock really fooling anyone? Might as well just write Bobby Orr. Same with saying things like "a certain Bruins defenseman".
To me, it does get a little annoying. I know we'd all love to talk about the guys we expect to get picked soon, but we just need to hold off. Them's the rules, and they're there for good reason. If I was picking in the next few picks, I wouldn't want the guys ahead of me getting tips about a player I was hoping for.

Agreed, even with no letters with the x's it is fairly obvious most of the time. I think that any further posts that even hint at undrafteds should be removed.

Sorry, but he's an obvious one he's going to be drafted either next or after this next pick.
Sorry I kinda disappeared there, my brother slipped on the driveway while walking hom from school so I had to go clean it. We're just looking at some options, pick coming in a bit.
