Basically from right before the penalty shot was called to right after he missed it, my tampa tv station had technical difficulties and switched back and forth between goldie and lindsay and ****** audio from the lightning commentators... soo lame.

If that's called a goal, I don't want to hear fans of any other team complain about refs this season.

A perfect way to sum up the home stand. Nice ballsy shootout selections as usual.

Edit: Go Hulton!

That was a goal.

Even if you disagree, the Panthers deserve to lose this game, anyway. This is what happens when you get 7 powerplays, including one 5-on-3, and don't score.

The refs gave us plenty of calls.

We even got a Carolina Hurricane-like dive from Dadonov, and everything.

That wasn't a goal. He clearly touched it after Vokoun made the save. They may have deserved to lose, but that was not a good goal.

Yes, it was.
That wasn't a rebound goal; Moore doesn't touch the puck twice.

Even it's questionable, the initial call on the ice is a goal. There has to be conclusive evidence to overturn it.

It was a goal. The puck never lost forward momentum and it never left Moore's stick. You can't disallow that goal.

You do a great job explaining why. By far one of the most articulate members of these boards. The multiple "This coach is an idiot" posts are incredibly convincing.

By the way, I know hindsight is 20/20 and there's no point in regretting stuff, but for ***** and giggles...Michael Grabner now has more goals than anyone on our team, playing for one of the worst teams in the NHL.

So glad we let him go because he "didn't earn it in preseason."

At least Santorelli became a productive player.

I thought he was talking about Boucher for putting Hedman, Hall, and Moore out there for the SO when he has superstars on his team.

I guess I was wrong, though.

Saw Grabner's success from a mile away.

After playing a solid game, it's going to be interesting how Vokoun reacts on Sunday when DeBoer gives Clemmensen the start.

The fact that which coach he is referring to is ambiguous further proves what I am trying to say.

Yup.
You, I, and many others never agreed with that move.

Easily, Tallon's worst move, thus far.

Pretty good crowd tonight. On the way home I heard Moller say it was around 17k. Not bad.

btw what was up with Wideman at the end of the second period? Did someone on the Tampa bench steal his stick?

SeasonTicket, give it a rest, man. We get it, you don't like DeBoer. Put that statement in your title and location instead of posting it every 5 minutes.

Yeah, Stewart was awesome here.

Grabner never really got the chance here, but geez. DeBoer doesn't make these moves; Tallon does.

I'm not his biggest supporter or anything, but as some have already said...this **** is getting ridiculous.

Not everything wrong with the world is Pete DeBoer's fault.

It's agonizing to watch 2 points slip away.
Hopefully the road trip will change things around.

Grabner didn't make the team, simple as that. Don't know how much of that was the accountability thing as it was positions actually available. Perhaps waiving him wasn't the smart move, but the kid's streaky and soft. I'd like to have him here, but these guys that are on the way up will make me forget about Grabner real quick...hopefully.

Stewart was never given the right chance here. He was a top line non-checking player in the A, and he was told to be exactly that here. I said this before when he was up and down with us. Atlanta's given him the chance to be who he is, and he's making the most of it...this season.
