Great, as always, just wrong date Law. You have the 20th on there.

Also, should we expect Nabby to start tonight? Lol.

I've just got to ask, why in the hell is Colliton playing over Schremp? Okposo looked pretty good yesterday, hopefully he pots one and doesn't look back.

My guess is some lazing back-checking or perhaps Colliton is just more well-rounded two-way forward in Cappy's eyes. But just speculation on my part and not going to make our break our season regardless so not losing any sleep over it.

Why is Papsmear playing over anyone?? Some horrible turnovers last night especially when we had the open net at the end of the game with NO one on him.
Great job as always LAW.
Come on boys, lets win this one.

Wait, so we are keeping Poulin up in the NHL and not even playing him in one of the back-to-back? Sigh...

This team needs to write a book on what not to do to prospects. Having a good streak? Scratch. Look like our future goalie? No AHL for you. Sit on the bench in the NHL. Slumping in the NHL because you are 19? Keep trying. Who cares about confidence? Our hottest player? No need for PP time or top line minutes. Try to score with Sim, Colliton, and Konpoka on your line.

Schremp has just gone through a stretch where he went from the Isles only even forward to -8. Also, in the last few games, I thought he was cheating on defense at the expense of his offense. Colliton is better at the back end but his line sure looked lost in the offensive zone last night.

This goalie situation is stupid. Please claim Nabby and send Poulin and Lawson down.

My guess is KO replaces him on the top line once he gets his legs under him. Frustrating at times for sure, but he is out 3rd leading scorer.

Agreed that one of them should be sent down to keep playing (my preference would be Poulin), but with DP supposedly dealing with the flu and the ever present "Yes, DP is on crutches, but it's nothing serious, just a precaution", guess this is how we're rolling for awhile.

Someone on the Buffalo equipment staff might want to keep the old resume up to date...

Islanders play crappy 95% of the time in general, but 99% of the time in front of a goalie that isn't Dipietro.

Gillies is fine. He is what he is. And playing teams like NYR and PHILLY I would rather have Gillies there than Schremp.

Colliton however needs to live up to his nickname and get his arse traded pronto!!!

Agree.

I'll enjoy watching PAP suck, but maybe pot an easy goal so it warrants more playing time.

Hope for another big one by JT and Grabner. Hope to see any semblance of life in Bailey.

Tonight's a loss, here's to Sunday

As mentioned previously, it makes no sense that Lawson is playing tonight. Lawson is not an NHL goalie, nor will he ever be. Poulin has had some success this year and is our best goalie prospect. Outside of the Calgary game, Lawson has been AWFUL. I sincerely hope we claim Nabokov and never have to watch this guy in net again.

WTF!!!!! Un-F*&^%ing believable! You couldn't make this ***** up if you tried. Poulin should tell this team he wants nothing to do with them any longer, go f98ck yourselves, trade me! How do you justify keeping the kid up as back-up and then not playing him on the tail end of back to backs, and then you call up Lawson.
