Went with Filppula, Hudler, and Helm. Wanted to vote for Kindl too, he was good.

What the hell happened to the D in that 3rd period? They were pretty much airtight the first 40, except for the giveaway before Oshie's roofer and a couple textbook Kronwall suicide attempts right into his own crease. Then all hell broke loose.

First Blues goal was a perfect shot over the glove and under the bar. Only way to stop it is to stop him from getting that shot off.

For some reason I am blanking on the second Blues goal. I'll check the replay later.

On the third Blues goal, Howard makes 3 or 4 saves and finally the puck gets past him. Didn't look like much of a shot, but how about clearing the damn crease instead of having Miller and Lidstrom both just stand there while Backes takes 5 shots in a row from 3 feet out?

1. Helm
2. Hudler
3. Zetterberg

HM: Kindl, Eaves, Bertuzzi and basically the rest of the 3rd and 4th lines.

Howard seemed to be playing better (only one goal he would probably want back). Anything to do with Nabokov?

Good game at the end, I guess. These road games are wearing us thing though.

Well, I'd give him an HM too, but after the Wings went into epic brainfart mode, he kind of disappeared IMO. No one looked good. But he played well in the first, both offensively and defensively. I'm no fiend, buddy!

Berglund whiffed on a one timer, but got enough of it that it crossed up Howard and fluttered under his arm as he reacted for a glove save.

I'm pretty sure they had two shots on that third rush, and Lidstrom had 3 guys to cover while Kronwall shifted to the corner for no reason.

Hudler's looking a looooot better playing top 2 lines with Flip. I like it. I cannot believe once our team gets healthy, Eaves has to drop down. Love the guy. He knows how to get to scoring areas and put it in. Loves to shoot, and I love to watch him shoot because so often, the Wings will pass it up for a pretty setup and miss a great shot chance.

Hudler now has 3 goals and 8 assists (2 goals/2 assists on the PP) and is +2 in his last 12 games.

Kronwall is going through a rough spot positionally the last two weeks or so.

Not sure what's up but he's been all over the place.

It seems ever since he moved to the 1st pairing with Lidstrom he has been lost.

Obviously he's afraid of cramping the HOFer's style so he stays away from the action.
