Maybe thats what this team needs. They been comfy in a playoff spot for awhile so perhaps wakeing up tommorow and seeing themselves in 9th and virtually in a must win game on monday against the Blues will light a fire under them...I have my doubts about that because this team looks like they have stopped playing for Sacco. Stewart was much more visible tonight but not nearly good enough for his standard so hopefully the Blues can wake him up.

I somewhat agree. Considering what we have now in Hunwick I would welcome Clark back with open arms

Damn early games. First missed game of the year, but at least I didn't miss much. Sacco really need to fix our system, we're giving up 2 on 1s more than ever. Last year we allowed more shots, but at least they were more perimeter shots.

I think the whole team just hits a wall, even Duchene and Stastny don't play very good. I saw some good energy, but most players lack confidence, they're having a difficult time right now, won't make the play-offs playing like that

Agree. They are in a big slump and losing a lot of confidence right now.
Nothing is working the way it was before. No matter how bad we were defensively we were always finding ways to score ourselves. Thats not happening anymore and the guys are getting more and more desperate about it.

I want the coaching staff and the management to do anything to help the team out of this slump. Get Foppa in. And even if it wont help, I'll feel good watching Forsberg out there

I'd be up for a big trade, as long as it is not short sighted (read: Matt Hunwick trade). If it is a trade that fits in with our current team (hard working, fast, etc) I'm all for it.

Matt Hunwick was second in ice-time, only behind Kyle Cumiskey.

Sacco and his love for speed from the back is baffling.

Apparently, skating around aimlessly in circles while contributing nothing but giveaways is enough to get you in Sacco's good books. Seriously, Sherman is either going to have to trade for Duncan Keith (which will never happen), or get rid of Cumiskey and Hunwick. Otherwise, the team will continue to see Cumiskey/Hunwick get fed tons of minutes.

I'd really like to see us go after Nicklas Grossman or Shane O'Brien to pair with Shattenkirk. Both pretty quick skaters, and defensive defensemen.

My plan: Sign Forsberg and trade Galiardi, Cumiskey, Yip etc. for a top 4 defenseman.

I really really start feeling some antipathy for Sacco.
It is annoying how blind that guy is and it starts getting more and more clear that last year's efforts were led by Andy, not by JS.

It seems like he's not doing anything I expect from a hockey coach. This team has no system, its only strength is its speed. But teams get used to it, they start trapping us and we cant use our speed anymore. His call-ups and so on suck as well.
But hey, I am really tired of talking that same trash after every game. It's like they do not even see the very obvious things.
