Carcillo for Jacques and Belle

Flyers:

- Save over $400,000 in salary (Carcillo 1.07 for Jacques 6.15)
- Belle gives them playoff depth on d which you can never have enough. (minors)
- Jacques RFA next year so they let him go if they like
- Carcillo can not get in the lineup

Oilers:

- needs toughness that can play a 3rd or 4th line minutes
- they can add salary

Belle wouldn't be any more than the 10th defenseman.

Don't need Jacques when we have Shelley.

Rather have the draft pick.

Carcillo for 2nd round pick!

Oilers needs a tough guy with a bit scoring talent who is a good 3rd line player.

Carcillo needs more ice time

Flyers need salary for resign Leino!

Win Win Win Win Situation ;D

I'm not sure about the Oilers needs, but I wouldn't give up a 2nd for Carcillo. I really wouldn't even give up a 5th for Carcillo.

Carcillo isn't a tough guy! All he does is fight rookies or guys that are smaller than him. Never once will you see him go near an Orr, a Boogaard or even a Peters. He's a coward.

If you need to fill a hole for a tough guy, go after a Konopka, or the like. At least they bring something to the table.

Pass. We have enough "tough" guys to not want to deal assets for him. And I personally wouldn't him.

The Oilers do need a guy like Carcillo though I personally hate the guys guts. A 2nd round pick would be too large of a price to pay however.

not for nothing!

1. We´re small when it comes to draft picks, thx to Homer.
2. Shelley will play 80 % of all games, thx to Homer (i think its not a coaches decision)
3. Powe, Betts, Nödl are better checking, grinding forwards and Wellwood can be in the future.
4. Carcillo lost his role in the team to Shelley, and show not much this season.

We need salary for Leino. He is a beast, especially with his low cap hit. Hope he signs 1,5 per year.

Carcillo earns 1,07. Thats a lot of money for nothing, because he gets no ice time.

If you really want to have something back, i only can find two players:

Toni Rajala RW 875,000
Linus Omark LW 875,000

But they have a high salary and can´t help us fast.... Why taking their salaries??

All other players have very high salary or never be traded Eberle, Magnus Paajarvi-Svensson.

I´ll take the 2nd rounder!!

It will be a early 2nd!!

Were not dealing our second for Dan Carcillo. That makes no sense for us to do.

My fault!

I don´t wanted to say, he is a tough guy like Orr, Shelley, Boogard.
I wanted to say he is an enforcing or grinding type of Player.
In these role he is a very good player in the past. He only lost his place in the Flyers team, so he needs to step up somewhere else.

I would take 2 3rd´s ;D

I still would rather do Carcillo and PIT's 3rd for Glencross. The Flames fans seemed to dig that.

Listen Phili fans Carcillo is not going to get you a 2nd or two 3rds, I won't give Omark for him neither so take a 4th or that is that.

Leino is going to cost more than 1.5mil he is an UFA.

I'd take a 3rd for him. And that guy, whose only 3 posts on all of HF are on this thread, is the only guy that thinks he's worth a 2nd.

Not really trying to get rid of Carcillo for nothing, so we'll just keep him in that case. This proposal was ridiculous to begin with. The Flyers only have 13 healthy forwards with Laperriere done, anyway, so we can't trade one if we don't get one back, otherwise Jody Shelley and/or Eric Wellwood in the lineup every night.

If someone want him, he must throw more than he is worth, because there is no reason to trade him! Why do you can´t understand this?!

Well, Carcillo fought Konopka, twice so there goes that. And beat him.

He's not a coward, he just doesn't want to die.

Here's who else he fought this year:
Kyle Chipchura
Dale Weise
Tom Kostopoulous
Brandon Prust
Mike Brown

This is who you want him to fight:

Colton Orr 6'3'' 222
Andrew Peters 6'4'' 240 (really?)
Boogaard: 6'7'' 249 (really?)

Coward? Carcillo is a coward because he doesn't fight players with 40+ pounds on him?

He fights guys within his weight range, he's an agitator, that's what he does. He just doesn't control himself very well sometimes which has had him fall out of Laviolette's favor recently.

That said, I don't see the incentive for this trade...

Get your head out of your ... and be realistic. Carcillo is not a heavyweight. Rookies and small guys. Get a grip and craw back in your hole bev fan.
