He basically says two words less than he does in English. It's really not a big deal.. atleast he did the commercial in French instead of having someone do voice-overs for him.

Were you a fan of Gretzky and Lemieux ? because their were 2 of the biggest whiner in the 80s

BTW, love the fact sid still insist doing it french & also great to see Brad Richard at the all stars game this weekend still speaking pretty good french after almost 10years after leaving Rimouski

He has people gunning him every single second he steps on the ice. Same thing happened with Gretzky and Lemieux.. they whined as well. It's just that you didn't have Youtube and the Internet back then to see all of that.. Ovie *****es too.

Its normal.. when everyone is trying to hunt you down.

After watching 24/7 Pens-Caps I gained a ton of respect for Crosby. He went from being a player I couldn't stand to arguably my favorite in the league.

I still don't like Crosby, but it's an accomplishment for him to be somewhat of a personable human being considering his parents...

I love how people are still clouded by his image as a rookie.

Despite his nickname, Sid is a man. He's the best player in the world and he still finds ways every summer to better himself. You'd get fed up too if every single opponent's game plan was centered around stopping and annoying you.

Yeah, was going to say, wasn't that the party line on Lindros?

They played the Olé Olé song after a touchdown during the Pro Bowl. I guess there are only European fans who watch that typical sport so they have to play an European chant.

They talk like he can just play with the Avs but wouldn't he have to clear waivers like others?

I dont think so since he hasn't played this season, but I could be wrong.
Nabokov had played en the KHL and had to clear waivers.

Are the Avs that much in trouble financially ? Because, from a hockey stand point, it doesn't make any sense. They have one of the best young centre duo in the league, one of the best offense, but a crappy defense and questionnable goaltending.

Forsberg won't improve their odds... althought, I'm sure he still has something in him, players that talented usully have.
