The only thing that could make it better is if Montreal's car was upside down and on fire.

So we'll have Sauer matched up one-on-one with Ovechkin for 20-25 minutes. I like the kid but we better hope that Girardi is okay.

Looks like this braden holtby fellow doesn't have a shutout yet, judging by past performances against backups hes in luck. This is a game we need to find a way to win, against a playoff team with a backup backup goalie, definite game a team like ours has to win.
On a side note there's a possibility we could see them in the first round of the playoffs and it'd be nice to look at them as a beatable team this time round.

I'd be content with getting two points out of the next four. Take those and get to the All-Star break with no more injuries and we're in good shape.

A handful of backup "sieves" came by to say:
Remember those games we were supposed to let in 7? How did that work out for you?

Feeling another blowout for us on this one. I'll go with Gabby potting a hatty, zuccs scoring two and Boyle scoring another.
6-1 win. Get er' done.
Edit: Oh, Grachev might be playing? Make that 7-1.

Holtby's played well in his last couple of games and their offense has shown more than a few signs of waking up. Win or lose, just continue to fight.

4 out of 4 would be amazing
3 out of 4 would be ideal
2 out of 4 would be nice
Let's get two tonight and that way we can take it one game at a time.
I want a full 60 minute effort and it will be interesting to see how the Rangers match up against Ovy if Girardi isn't playing.
LETS GO RANGERS

Could not agree more. I can't stand the guy's voice, and his horrible announcing in general. It makes me want to harm small, cute, fluffy animals (I have an english bulldog puppy btw lol).
But in all seriousness, the man is AWFUL. It sounds like he's trying to do play-by-play in Fonzie's "EHHHHHHHH" voice all game.
