I'd probably be willing to trade down in the next 5 picks from #102. PM me if interested. (Though I'm not going to wait on a deal, so if you're interested, better respond quickly).
sorry guys, I can't send a list because I really don't know who I want, and might just trade the pick. Bedtime now. But I won't be sleeping that long. I might still wake up to see LL still on the clock, or, if he wakes up nice and early on the east coast, I'll only be picking/trading a few hours into my clock.

It was determined before the draft that 2 GMs swapping an entire draft position before either picked doesn't count as a trade.
Then you should stop being so miserly and make a good-value offer, if you want to trade up to secure a guy, you have to pay the price.
If this is about the offer I sent you, I'm not going to offer a chasm of a jump for 5 spots, nor a appropiately sized bigger jump if there is not one available, much as I wish there were to simplify things.
Doesn't look like I'll have to move up afterall anyways.
I am looking to trade 160th overall for a pick around 200 and a slight depth upgrade later on. Anyone interested?
I have 238th or 172th if you have an offer I will listen depending if my deal with vancity is happening ( conditionnal deal in the waiting of the 124th pick ) Because I only have 1 deal left.

That's nice, but then don't even bother sending offers or saying you "want to move up", because the reality is you don't, you aren't willing to pay the going rate. There isn't a single person who doesn't want to move up at any point of the draft, the question is whether or not you're willing to compromise significantly to do so or not. The offer you sent me was peanuts (lol not even). I can honestly say that I considered the compensation to be of zero value (not exaggerating).
If only you knew what sort of an offer I had on the table from MB (who picks right BEFORE you)...

The "going rate" is something entirely based on opinion as shown by the wide array of deals. And merely because one can not offer a deal you see as good (a deal you didn't try to negotitate with me on), does not mean they lack the desire to trade up.
I don't know if you actually checked the picks that we had to work with, but I apologize for my lack of desire to boost you up a full round or more to move up 6 spots /sarcasm
Who knows what I'd think. Possibly an overpayment. An overpayment or an underpayment does not determine the "going rate" of the entirety of the market, merely the "going rate" of the single trade, and one should not be ridiculed because they can't meet an overpayment.
Negotiate? I don't think you understand, I actually considered the trade value to be ZERO, as in 0.00, as in 0/1, as in "even if you offered me that compensation AS A FREE GIFT, I wouldn't accept because it wasn't even worth the effort to respond or write 'I accept' in the thread.
Seriously, I could not care less if I'm getting moved up from 202 to 205, and 7 spots in some much-later round where the picks have by that point become mostly subjective and there's a draft-position variation of +/- 20-50 spots from year to year.
There's a serious drop in talent between 120 and 125, and with guys like Cowley, Stastny, Brimsek, and 3-4 defensemen who are all the last of their tier available, moving down to an area where you might miss out on one of these guys is risky.
You think you can pay peanuts to get nab a guy like Stastny or Cowley? Other GMs will gladly pay far, far, far more than that (I know for a fact)
