George McPhee....The Teflon GM. 15 years of failure and counting....
6 - Number of playoff series the Capitals have won since George McPhee took over as General Manager in 1997 (which makes him the third-longest-tenured GM in the League), three of which came in McPhee's first season on the job.
I've been waiting patiently for this game. I hope the Caps bang the rangers up more than what they are. Would like to see King in the lineup tonight and fight from the beginning. I really want to see the Caps win this game by a large margin. I'll never forget those Ranger fans cheering our players getting injured.
im hyped 4 this game, i hate the allstar break.....i think its unfair too the rest of the teams players that deserve 2 be playing! that have stood up during ovs non scoring time, or crosbys concussion time off......
No use returning the favor for the utter ******** that happened at MSG in regards to Ovechkin's close call. The Washington fanbase has proven they're better than that during last year's playoffs (the Montreal anthem garbage). However, I definitely would not mind a very physical game though. Hendricks, Hannan, Beagle, King and Gr8 playing the body and grinding them down to a fine pink mist.
Goals will come. Play these guys uber physical and their O will be negligible.

Don't understand how some people can be fans of two teams..that just doesn't compute!
I was born in Toronto. As a kid I collected hockey cards and the O-Pee-Chee sticker books. Started liking the Caps too for some reason around that point mainly due to the logo and their jerseys.

So I've been a fan of both teams since 1982.
Pretty much this. She was born in Halifax, but grew up in Edmonton as a kid. She moved to the uS the first year Carolina moved there, so - as a Canadian - she was a big hockey fan and started following the Canes.
But when the Oilers/Canes met in the Stanley Cup, she realized her heart was with Edmonton.
