Missed the last game. Seemed like the guys played a great game, except for the first ten. I'd like to see them play at the same level tonight.

5-2. Nash x3, Clitsome and Tyutin.

I was optimistic until I saw Klesla is out which means Stralman will be in. 4-3 Ducks in OT, Stralman with 2 assists. For the Ducks.

All I have have seen on twitter is that they are still working on the ice and there are no plans as of yet if the ice is not ready for the game but they hope it will be.

First game in quite awhile I'm excited to see, with the conference essentially even from the 8th-14th seed the jackets must get at least a point tonight; hopefully two. After a decade of watching the Jackets play over 600 games sometimes I get a sense of how the team feels-with Clitsome and Calvert on board I think they feel pretty confident and have a good chance to win this one.

They need the fans though, Give em hell Doc!

Or the game could just be played tomorrow night since neither team has another game and the All-Star break doesn't officially start until after Wednesday games.

According to playoff statistics, this game is a must win for the Jackets. They currently only have a 8.6% chance of making the playoffs.

And in order to hold their own destiny, they must go 22-9-3 the remainder of the season to have 100% chance of making the playoffs (98 points).

A good chance at the playoffs with a 96% chance of making it would require a 20-10-4 run at 95 points.

And a slim margin chance of making the playoffs at 31% would require at a minimum a 18-12-4 run and hope that 91 points gets us in.

Any way you put it, winning tonight makes the road a lot easier. We'd jump up to an 11% chance of making it if we can win tonight.

Isn't there some kind of outdoor skating rink down by the Statehouse?

@Aportzline: #CBJ president tells Dispatch that Natuonwide Arena ice has been repaired and tonight's game vs. Anaheim will proceed.

This kind of has the opening home game feeling....we havent seen them at home for a bit, a game they should compete in since they have home ice advantage...thank god its not a Friday night. We've put ourselves in a position that every point is critical, the games in our barn, no reason at all for them to come out flat....if they want to be a playoff team, this is a game they need to make a statement with

Howson is probably waiting for the ice to get better. No need to rush these things you know

Hopefully our power play continues at the 100% rate weve seen the last few games since Clitsome has been here. Ok so its only ~20%, it just seems like 100% to me.

3-1 jackets. empty net from nash !

Is this not a critical game going into the break? From here on in after the break, they are all critical
