Seems Levasseur has been better than Pielmeier this year. But I guess they wanted him to start again with Syracuse tonight. I really hope this is a turn around year for JPL, hopefully he can get the chance with an NHL club someday.

Congrats to Curtis!

What a bummerfor Timo. Hazy or Ahlers said that yesterday was rookie night, which means that the rookies have to pay for the player's dinner. He got called up for the first time ever, to cover for McBackup, and got stuck with a dinner tab.

How much money would he be making while being called up though? Plus where did they go to dinner? I'm sure he will still get more money up here as compare to being in the A although no chance in hell I do the research or math.

Timo earns $62,500 (minors) or $650,000 (NHL). NHL season is 182 days -> daily NHL income of 650,000/182 = $3,571

Daily income in the AHL is $343, so he could actually spend more than $2'000 on the dinner and still have more in his pocket
