Does it really matter at this point. People cant say its not a big deal that we were the #1 seed and got knock out in the first round. And then have someone say its a big deal if we have a hard road.

i bet you're going to tell me Kovalchuk won't score either, right?

yes, 0-0 is boring. but it beats the crap out of the 0-2s and 0-3s we were racking up during first periods in November and December. i still have post-traumatic stress disorder from the 8-game skid.

looks like we're being extra aggressive on the pinch tonite, with mixed results. nearly gave one up on the Carlson miss.

looked like Ovie's shot was going wide anyway, on the OP glove save. 5-hole beckoned.

2nd period, open the floodgates. i see one of these teams roaring out to a 1-0 lead. at some point. maybe.

If you're not bored, you're not paying attention.

I thought you wanted Carlson and Green at the points?

well...since they went to the current playoff format every cup winner has been a top 4 seed save for one 5 seed. so...it does matter. 1 seeds lose to 8 seeds. but 8 seeds dont win the cup.

Does it matter if we play in 2nd round PHI or BOS? And Bos or PHI after that?

Imagine PHI=1, BOS=2, TBL=3, WSH/PIT=4/5

Then we have 1) PIT 2) BOS (if TBL losing) or PHI 3) PHI or BOS

I can't see any difference. We need to start with a good series plus a win over good opponent. The rest doesn't matter at the moment.

Ok then him there for you.

Him there as the big gun isnt working. We can move him, or have him do different things. It doesnt matter. Change is most important to prevent insanity.

I kind of like Antropov.
