Voted for Campbell because he's having a really good season in college. Deserves to be at least a second-tier prospect.

Add Jyri Niemi. He could be a hard-hitting defenseman a la Vtank.

Wilson. Add McNaught for his fists.

I really don't think Kolarik is going to be an NHL player.

Out of the 19 guys we have so far, likely only 8-9 will be full time NHL players. So its not the worst place he could go if he has to.

True. But for me, a younger player like Wilson or Talbot(goalies are late bloomers) still have a chance. I think the ship has sailed for Kolarik.

I realize we're scraping the bottom of the barrel now, but I wouldn't be fooled by Campbell's senior year in college. Most college players have their best season as seniors, but if they hadn't emerged as underclassmen, it's almost unheard of that they ever make it as pros.

I'd be shocked if Niemi makes it. He hasn't shown much improvement since his rookie year in junior.

I voted for Wilson because he has the tools to be a Prust type. His numbers indicate that he does a little more than just fight. I also like Talbot.

Add Maggio. Injuries have limited him, but he might provide a little fiestiness on the backline. McNaught woulod be a legit heavyweight, but he's never shown the skill to play at the next level.

My after the fact list:

T-1 Derek Stepan & Mats Zuccarrello-Aasen -- Who do you take, Doug Weight or Tony Amonte? Toews or Kane? I can not choose between the two! Seriously, I can understand thoose who leans towards Stepan, but I wouldn't be suprised if MZA goes on a tear in the near future putting up a lot of pts over the coming 2-3 years.

3. Dylan McIlrath -- I think whats holding back McI more then anything is the amount of lbs he is carrying around. In every area but the physical play, those lbs is a disadvantage. I think a player like McI really de facto have potential to grow into the best possible player he can become. He is strong and big, but not bull-liked built and ought to have potential to become a avg skater with avg mobility. And thats soooo important. Offensively he he does not rely on a game that requires anything more in terms of skating, but he can still unload from the blueline. A good fighter and hitter. It's not fair to compare him to Shea Weber, yet at least, but I think McI have potential to become more then a one-dimensional player. I think he have more potential then a player like Kreider to round off his game along the way.

4. Michael Sauer -- Fantastic attitude. Good skater. Not a stiff. A bit of a ship on his shoulder. I see a Richard Matvichuk-type of career infront of this kid. Thats valuble.

5. Chris Kreider -- Fantastic engine. A NHL body. He will play in this league. Big questionmarks about his upside though. He can use his speed at any level, but as it is now he have to wait for the pucks to come to him -- and that for most kids a dealbreaker all together. With his engine, he will still get to play in the NHL. How much more can he develop?

6. Ryan McDonagh -- Kind of the same potential as Sauer. But he will face some tough stretches in the future. His lateral movement is superb, and I think he have more of a physical game in him. But, his positioning is a tad unpolished still, and he isn't yet as steady as Sauer.

7. Evg. "Potemkin" Grachev -- Potemkin is not a bottom two line player. He needs to take a few steps more before he is ready for a complimentary role on a scoring line. But I think he fits well into this team. He is locked up for another year, and his breakthrough ought to come sooner or later. Its a bit troublesome for him because due to his skating, he needs to be put in a role where someone can get him up ice and involved in the play. He have a lot of hockey in him though.

8. Jesper Fasth -- Great looking kid. I personal favorite of mine. Very modern. Works extremely hard. Good PKer. Really good on the forecheck. But, he can also do a bit of everything. He can make a world class playmaking play. He can undress a D 1 on 1. He can play the PP. Very good skater. Not overly big, but strong on his skates. If I was in a worse mood this morning I could have put him 5th on this list and I wouldn't have been worried one bit about it coming back haunting me...

9. Ryan Bourque -- Not good enough in any sexy area to create much of a buzz around him. But IMHO the 9th best hockeyplayer on our depth charts. And being a good hockeyplayer is what it is all about. He will not step into the NHL as is so to speak. But he have a ton of hockey in him, and that gives him a good shot at adjusting and finding a niche in the NHL. Be it as a Darren Helm type of player. Be it in some other role.

T-10. Tomas Kondratek and Ethan Werek -- Two solid prospects. I see two problems for them though, they will not become something they already aren't. Or Werek could really develop his skating, but there have been little movement for him in that regard. But, and this is more troublesome, the competition for these kids will be deadly the coming years. Chances for these two will come few and far between, and whatever role they get will be minor.

12. Carl Hagelin -- I've been wrong before and I certainly hope that I am wrong this time. But, I do not see Hagelin as a top 2 line player, and I think he is tad to one-dimensional in a offensive direction to be a optimal fit on a 3rd/4th line. Do not get me wrong, Carl Hagelin is a very good hockeyplayer. Players his type makes to the NHL. Think of like Nik Hagman. But its tough for them. Very tough.

13. Roman Horak -- A interesting player. I think this kid is on the verge, but he have real de facto offensive potential in the NHL. A good, low-gravity, shifty skater. Good playmaker. Can put the puck in the net. Good hands. In terms of offensive potential I think this kid is 3rd on our charts -- but he is also natrually in terms of % not all that high on charts to reach his celling.

14. Dale Weise -- Got a chance this season and proved that he was not ready. He aint young, and it could take a while before he gets a new chance. But, the reason for why I put him on the list to start with, its that he have developed tremendously not a long time ago. He have showed that he can take very big steps during a small time period. I like that fact that he put his body on the line and would do anything once he got a chance. I wouldn't be all that suprised if this kid, in camp next season, used his elbow and got himself a top 12 forward spot on this team. Go get them Dale!

15. David Kevton -- Do not forget Kveton!

Ola, man, Kveton has tailed off productionwise, and we've seen no indication that Sather or he has any interest in one another. Putting him over Christian Thomas? Can't say I agree.

Went with Wilson, think he has the best shot at playing in the NHL, albeit it be on the 4th line, more then likely.

Add Niemi.
