for anyone missing Horton...from boston.com today..
Horton (one goal in his last 19 games) has been especially invisible. There were times during Horton’s slump when he put pucks on goal and played with energy. In the last two games, though, Horton has reverted to his listless skating. When he’s had scoring chances, he has shot the puck with zero confidence.Because he doesn’t kill penalties, Horton has been of little use all around. If the Bruins had spare forwards, the ex-Panther might be due for a healthy scratch.

Yeah, it's great. He's on pace for less goals than last year, and last year he broke his leg for part of the season.
Good to know it wasn't just Florida, but in reality, it was the player.
From a Bruins fan's standpoint, I just want to say...Take Horton back, please.
No way. I was very happy he was moved! That said, he'll rebound and do better at some point this season. He may even do well in the playoffs, but I can't stand his lapses and constant lack.

I never realized how poorly Horton was doing, but this makes me feel great. When I heard Bill Lindsey before say how the Panthers got the better end of the trade at this point, I thought to myself "ehhh I'm not sure about that" but these stats definitely prove it. It is a shame because Horton could be an incredible NHL player if he just put in the effort that a Santorelli type of player does.
