Tampa's defense is the worst thing the NHL has seen since the Penguins' offensive without Crosby, Malkin, and Staal.

Kinda getting tired of all these breaks in the Flyers' schedule but it's nice to know that the teams trailing Philly aren't making the most of their opportunity.

More fuel to the fire of me hating those in charge of scheduling. I understand the breaks that are necessary (Christmas, ASG, etc) and that it's not easy juggling 30 teams and traveling, but c'mon now.

Oh I meant to post this earlier.

I heard Phil Kessel do an interview today on NHL Live on XM.

Is he not the DUMBEST ****ing hockey player alive? He might seriously rank up there with some NBA and NFL players.

Re: Matt Cooke

It's been 12 years since he's entered the league. That's a long time for someone to be little more than a cheap shot artist good for 11 goals every year, so there's gotta be other things he's doing that no one wants to hand Matt Cooke his own ass and take the 4-game suspension.

Meanwhile, with Crosby and Malkin out, who is the Penguins biggest draw right now?

I cannot stand Matt Cooke. What a piece of ****. Meanwhile, when you go look over on the main side, Pens fans are defending him. What's even better is when people say they are they defending him, they deny they are. Some are saying he didn't have enough space to stop...really? Have you ever seen a hockey stop? Get real. At least take off your homer glasses and admit the truth. It was a dirty hit, and Cooke is a *****.

I mean if that hit isn't dirty, then half of our controversy calls aren't controversial.

I must be different then. Hell, I think a lot of us are.

That's like us defending Downie for that hit he had in preseason a few years ago. I mean that was a terrible hit, but you know what I mean.

I find it comical how the Pens apparently have taken a liking of gooning it up, and apparently can get away with everything. Staal punching Prust out of nowhere (admittedly, Prust exaggerated, but that doesn't change the fact that Staal attempted to suckerpunch someone), and now Cooke with two dangerous hits in two games.

In other news, TSN has a montage of the "Top 10 Hockey Puck moments". Pronger makes it to #5 with his habit of stealing them, and the Warmup Brawl against the Habs makes it to #4.

What the hell happened in Tampa? I went to bed halfway through the 3rd period thinking "Hopefully the Sabres can at least win it in OT".

Roloson had a flashback to the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals.

This is why I don't trust Roloson. He can shut teams out and get pulled in the next game. Roloson is the most bipolar goaltender on the planet.

Pens are like spoiled children, they've been babied by the league for so long, now they have some hardship and their acting out. Blaming the league for not protecting crosby from actual hockey contact. Cooke will just systematically take out other players to make it even i guess.

I think 4 goals were given up in 3:14. That's just ridiculous.

A break is nice to let the players heal, too.

Some people still argued 20 games was too long for the hit. Always going to be a difference of opinions.

That's why I avoid the main boards for the most part. It's a cluster **** of opinions. And no matter how right you are, someone will argue with you.

I still think it was too much, since they havent cracked down on any other headshots at that length
