It's really interesting watching Travis tonight, he's a really good defensive forward for Texas and can be really crafty with the puck in the offensive zone. I think when he gets more confidence you'll see him carry the puck more like Benn and Ribeiro. He can have really good eyes some nights, problem is when he shoots he doesn't hit the net too often.

How the hell did Morrow end up in the box for that? He was in the crease because an Oil pushed him in and got punched for it and ends up with the penalty?

The refs took pity on the Oilers after seeing all the whining in their GDT.

It's the same reason the Ducks used to get away with playing a dirty as they wanted -- the refs will always try to even things up rather than calling the infractions as they happen.

Had control of the puck pretty much the entire time, just couldn't get that perfect shot I guess.

Do they seriously think the refs are screwing them in this game?

Probably Morrow in the box didn't help either.

Fistric just buried Jones

That's eliminating people in front of the net.

Was that Jones getting absolutely leveled in front of the net by Fistric?

Speaking of Fistric, there was an article in today's Toronto Star on the best bargains/busts in the NHL.

Fistric leads the league in minutes per hit, coming in at 4.8

Richards looked like he thought he was already at the All-Star Game with that little flip pass to no one at center ice.

Ref blows the play down despite Gagnon clearly having the puck on his stick.
